David Laws and his £40,000 fuck

Interesting how many MP-hating people cannot see their hypocrisy and small-minded vindictiveness when they proclaim the villainy of Laws for daring to claim £40K for his London accommodation.

This seems to arise from a number of unspoken and questionable assumptions here.

1. What is legitimately claimable as an expense becomes "theft", "corruption" and "fraud" if you have sex with your landlord or your landlady.

2. Your fuck buddy is obliged to give you stuff for free. (However, if that were so then no one would be anyone's fuck buddy, would they?)

3. MPs do not have a right to any privacy.

4. All are obliged to given an up to date list of their sex partners, especially MPs.

5. It is quite in order for an MP to suffer the loss of £40K for the foul crime of having sex with his landlord or landlady.

6. £40K is a reasonable sum to pay for a fuck.

This is when the MP concerned should ask: "Is it cos I is an MP?"

The answer would be: "Of course it is! The fact that you exist, let alone are paid and are allowed to claim any expenses paid at all is an affront to civilised values."

Bit extreme, but many educated liberals and libertarians take this view.

Hypocrisy and small-minded vindictiveness go hand in hand with MP-hating libertarians and liberals.

Page 66 states:

"Partner means one of a couple, whether of the same sex or of the opposite sex (the other being a Member) who although not married to each other or civil partners are living together and treat each other as spouses."

If I don't tell friends and family that my landlord or landlady is my sex partner, then I am not treating him or her like a spouse, am I?

Stupidity, cowardice, hypocrisy and vindictiveness rule OK in the UK.
