The Bible is obviously more extreme than the Koran. Why won't Christian chauvinists admit this?

This isn't to be taken literally.

The Koran doesn't have crap like this.

Matthew is correct in saying that we'd be better off with only one eye in Heaven than in Hell with both eyes. But would cutting off just one body part stop us from sinning, or cure us from original sin? No, of course not! Jesus (speaking through Matthew) is using these words to really strengthen the point: there is no way that we'll evade Hell by our own deeds. We desperately need God's grace.

These silly metaphors just confuse the morons and makes the Bible look stupid compared to the Koran.

For those that are intellectual challenged there is Islam, for those that appreciate word play etc, there is Christianity.

Most people are intellectually challenged. In any case laws and punishments should be expressed clearly.

The New Testament was written by the weak who never envisaged that their silly metaphors would ever be taken literally by those in government.

The Koran knows itself to be an instrument of government.
