How extremes meet: what Roosh the PUA proposes resembles khalwa ie sharia law

Roosh's tips on how to approach girls at bars

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/roosh-v-make-rape-legal-5193802

"If rape becomes legal under my proposal, a girl will protect her body in the same manner that she protects her purse and smartphone.

"If rape becomes legal, a girl will not enter an impaired state of mind where she can't resist being dragged off to a bedroom with a man who she is unsure of—she'll scream, yell, or kick at his attempt while bystanders are still around.

"If rape becomes legal, she will never be unchaperoned with a man she doesn't want to sleep with."

He goes on to claim that after several months of advertising the law, rape would be "virtually eliminated".

Roosh has been horribly demonised by http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3427647/The-seedy-code-followers-pro-rape-pick-artist-Daryush-Valizadeh-known-Roosh-V-use-accepted-Australian-meetings.html and other media who have been portraying him, unjustly, as being an advocate of rape, when what he has been doing is to suggest ways in which rape could be prevented.

Indeed, his suggestions are in line with a branch of Islamic law called khalwa.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalwa

In Malaysia, Muslims who are unmarried non-relatives of the opposite sex can be apprehended by state religious police under the offence of khalwat for being in "close proximity".

How to dramatically lower the number of rape complaints without changing the law

Translation from Malay: A pair caught naked together. Man's voice: "What are you two doing? Not married, hmmh? Not married?"

"Oh you naughty man! I couldn't possibly spend the night in a double bed in your hotel bedroom, even if we are both wearing pyjamas! People will talk! I demand that you do the gentlemanly thing and book me my own room in which I can pass the night with my reputation intact. I do hope and trust that you are indeed a gentleman?"

If we do as this man suggests, we will in effect be adopting a facet of Sharia Law. Rape is effectively legal in Islamic countries and this is why Muslim women will not go out in public unaccompanied and without the burkha to hide behind. Instead of modifying English Law to bring it into line with Sharia Law, we should simply repatriate all alien ethnic groups and restore British values.

Do you agree with that rape advocate Roosh V, Claire?

Claire Khaw said...

So glad you asked that question. You will find the answer in the post above.

A simple yes or no will do me, Claire.

If you will read that post, it says that Roosh is actually trying to *prevent* rape by what he said.

If you read his reasoning then you know he does not understand how victims react in rape situations. Victims freeze up like rabbits caught in headlights. Very few scream or struggle. They are too stunned. Some smile because they can't believe this is being done to them. Their minds can't comprehend it because they are in shock.

Also if you look at his website you will see his reasons why not to rape are all to protect the rapist from the consequences, not one reason says rape is wrong because it causes lasting damage to the victim.

It is more sensible to assume that Roosh already knows rape is a crime.

It would also be sensible to assume he knows that men can be victims of false rape accusations.

If his advice is a rape guide, then it would be advice along the lines of how to overcome a sober woman, kidnap her, restrain her, imprison her in his dungeon etc.

A different point raised but why are only men invited when women are the ones you think should change.

Hopefully someone kicks his face in

You can tell someone not to drink and drive because they might kill themselves.

You can tell someone not to drink and drive because the might kill others.

The most important thing is that you're telling someone not to drink and drive.

Claire Khaw said...

That was actually quite profound.

"why are only men invited when women are the ones you think should change?"

If women want to know how they should change all they need to do is ask Roosh nicely and he will tell them, or, just read his blogs.
