Margot Parker is standing in the Corby and East Northants by election in November.
I do hope the BNP will be sensible enough to stay right out of it because I have every intention of campaigning on behalf of this woman, and I don't want them to waste their time and money.
The intention is to close the gap between UKIP and the LibDems.

They will receive my help, whether or not they want it.
Any offers of hospitality and discounted accommodation gratefully received.
TWEETS I HAVE TWEETED TO MARGOT TODAY
I trust @BNP will be sensible enough not to stand in the Corby by election for I have every intention of helping @UKIP and @MargotLJParker
@MargotLJParker Fear not, Margot, I shall l be your Campaign Adviser! @Nigel_Farage @GawainTowler @UKIPStevenage @alexandralswann @UKIP
@MargotLJParker Don't let yourself be referred to in the third person, address your voter DIRECTLY! http://ukip.org/page/everyone-deserves-a-chance-says-margot … @gawaintowler
@MargotLJParker Say exactly what u want to say in your leaflet and be as forthright as you like. Don't mince your words and don't be boring
@MargotLJParker You should draft something and show me what you have done. I will then sex it up. @gawaintowler @Nigel_Farage
@MargotLJParker From today onwards say forthright controversial things and don't hold back. Pretend to be me! Read http://thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.co.uk/
I fear that @MargotLJParker may only appeal to the middle class voters. @LouiseMensch was just posh totty to her male voters. @gawaintowler
I hope @MargotLJParker will bear in mind that I have the common touch. I am very much at ease in male company in pubs. @gawaintowler @UKIP
What a shame @MargotLJParker and I cannot go on a Hogarthian pub crawl in the rougher parts of Corby. @GawainTowler
http://www.knowhere.co.uk/corby/northamptonshire/midlands/info/pubs … No decent pubs in Corby. We should still visit the working class areas though. @MargotLJParker
@MargotLJParker may wish to consider visiting the Ex-Servicemen's Club. I can write her speech for her. @GawainTowler @Nigel_Farage @UKIP
I think @MargotLJParker may secretly wish to avail herself of my services but it will be controversial. I am prepared to meet her.
@MargotLJParker should bear in mind my ability to attract the votes of working class men and how I would turbo charge her campaign.
I do hope @MargotLJParker is not going to be timorous about exploring possibilities with having me as her Campaign Manager.
If you were a *male* @UKIP candidate would you be afraid of accepting my help? @MargotLJParker @Nigel_Farage @GawainTowler @UKIPStevenage
I wonder if there is a way of gently suggesting to @MargotLJParker that she might like to say a few words about #Slut #Singleums #SSMs

OK ,Claire, I'll lay it on the line..
I am an English woman who hasn't voted for many a year due to living abroad.
I voted left wing as a young adult. I thought that I wasn't interested in Politics, but after a 'guilt trip' about not voting, and an opening of my mind towards Right Wing politics, coupled with evaluating how I've lived my life up until now and a lot of soul searching, I have become extremely motivated in finding as much information as possible as to my various choices. The choice narrows down to only one :
UKIP
One reason is that they don't accept ex BNP members.
I personally adore you (I am the person that wrote to you about how touched I was over your comments on Auberon Waugh). I am in perfect agreement with you about many of your utopic ideals (I think that your ideas about Feminism are right; Having some experience of
gravely disabled people,I know that your ideas -far from being shocking- are kind and right, for everybody concerned. I agree totally with you about the SSM.
However ..I was a (as I said) a Left leaning person searching for a political home, who actually lived and thought like a Right Wing person all the while.
Civic Nationalism was the obvious
for me.
After a brief flirtaion with the
Eng Dem's, they couldn't ever hack it because of all those ex BNP members and the fact that Robin Tibrook is all over the place, cosying up (laughably) to the EDL
etc. Trojan Horse ? - TOO obviously it is !
I think that the UKIP are absolutely right in not accepting ex BNP members, however Good and Just. Any Party, if it's going to be successful needs to convince people just like Me -a floating vote, and a person willing to be active (leafleting or willing to be trained to 'doorstep').
People like Me don't want to be taken for fools promoting a Trojan Horse for extremists...whatever affection I might have for people like yourself. Let's be practical. The UKIP are perfectly right to distance themselves from the BNP, for God's sake !
I shall certainly look up Margot Parker...

Thank you for identifying yourself as the one who commented in such moving terms about Bron.
As to your fear of UKIP being infiltrated by racists and the like, if you had met as many nationalists as I have, you would know they are basically pussycats and not be so frightened of them.
I am no longer personally 'frightened' by the Extreme Right, and I am sure a lot are 'pussycats' -as you say.
However it is perfectly obvious that any Party that is going to have to
appeal to ordinary voters is going to have to be 'clean'.
'Ordinary' voters -Mr & Mrs Bloggs-are scared stiff of the Extreme Right. They might not know anything about the subject, but say the words BNP to them and they will dredge up a lot of clichés, some of which are true.
Any small Party which is having any success will be attacked by rivals and the mainstream, and they will quickly inform Mr & Mrs Bloggs of ex BNP members who now members of that Party, and Mr & Mrs Bloggs will run a mile...
Then you allay their fears. It can be done if only the milquetoasts at UKIP would just take the bull by the horns. I am astounded at how reluctant they are to even DISCUSS it. I have offered them a workable solution, but they are still saying "But people will think this and that whatever we say."
How do they know? They haven't tried yet! If I were Director of Communications and Policy Consultant then I would be responsible for presentation. At least discuss it!!
