Catholicism is no longer fit for the purpose of maintaining the morals of the Western world, clearly.
Perhaps in his retirement Pope Benedict will convert to Islam.
It would be his duty to do so, if he cared at all about maintaining the morals of of the West. I would do so, in his place, to make a point.
