Nick Griffin's speech to the Italians should have been in Italian

If you view this all the way to the end, you will find it very dull indeed.  However, there are lessons to be learnt from this.

This is really not the way to perform in front of expectant foreigners listening to your speech, is it?  The best way of charming a foreign audience whose language you do not speak is to address them in their own language irrespective of whether you speak their language or not.

Though you may fear making laughable errors reading without comprehension a foreign language, as long as you make it short, foreigners will be utterly charmed, especially by your egregious errors of pronunciation.

If I had been Nick Griffin, I would have had Carlos Cortiglia write my speech out in Italian and then read it out to the Eyeties in my beautiful Italian accent.

This is all pretty basic.

Let us hope the next time he has to address foreigners who are also complaining about immigration he will have the sense to do as I suggest.

Let us also hope that it will be a Chinese audience next time.  I was in Hongkong recently and boy are they complaining about foreigners coming to their country to take the bread out of their mouths.  Oh, how they will be rolling round the aisles and laughing like drains at the tonal errors of foreigners trying to speak their language!

Is Nick Griffin losing his touch?  Perhaps.  Do you think he should be pensioned off soon and let someone who can do the job and who does want the job to transform and ennoble Nationalism by snatching it out of the hands of racists and making it more inclusive?  http://thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/claire-khaw-prepared-to-raise-funds-to.html Of course you do!

If you think Nick Griffin should accept my offer to pension him off, please email him at http://www.nickgriffinmep.eu/content/contact to tell him so.
