When will British values be Muslim values?

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/eric-pickles-letter-to-muslim-leaders-the-text-in-full-9987249.html

"British values are Muslim values. Like all faiths, Islam and its message of peace and unity makes our country a better and stronger place, and Britain would be diminished without its strong Muslim communities."

British values are currently the PC Libtard values that have established the matriarchy.

All the Abrahamic faiths promote patriarchal moral values.

Patriarchies run on marriage the way cars run on petrol.

The matriarchy was established as a consequence of the destruction of patriarchal moral values and the desecration of the institution of marriage.

When will British values be Muslim values?

When we have the Caliphate.  ;-)

Questions that will not be answered by Islamophobes or the British government

I like the way Cameron is able to make pronouncements on what is and what is not Islam. Maybe he wants to be Caliph?!

  2. I doubt that Cameron, who went to Eton but did not know what Magna Carta meant in English as he demonstrated on the David Letterman Show, even knows what British values are if we take his crib sheet away from him.

His crib sheet would say "democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs".

Muslims believe in democracy - direct democracy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shura

Muslims believe in the rule of law - the rule of Sharia law.

Of course, everyone believes that after all the necessary laws are in place what we should be left is our individual liberty, but everyone will disagree about which and what laws are in fact necessary.

As for mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs, it is just good manners.

Should we tolerate people who go out of their way to cause us gratuitous offence though?

Are we really forbidden to gloat a little if something dreadful happens to the people who have been gratuitously offensive about us and our beliefs for years?

Or are only liberals and liberal views to be tolerated?

Are these "values" peculiarly British or are they common to all Western nations?

Is it now a British "value" to promote gay marriage all over the world?

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10200636/I-want-to-export-gay-marriage-around-the-world-says-David-Cameron.html

It is easier to talk about Muslim values because, whatever you think of Muslims and their values, the Koran is what Muslims are supposed to follow. If they depart from what the Koran says and you have read the Koran, you can gently point this out to them.

But what are liberal principles? They seem to change from year to year and government to government. One wonders what a Manchester Liberal of the 19th century would make of the totalitarian legislation that now passes for liberal values in Britain in the early 21st century.

Would such a Liberal be just as appalled and disgusted with gay marriage as Muslims and other social conservatives must be about this story at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2914951/Suspended-sent-equality-training-Christian-magistrate-said-Adopted-child-needs-mum-dad-not-gay-parents.html?

If the government continues to avoid answering the questions at http://thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/questions-that-will-not-be-answered-by.html they should not be blaming Muslims if they refuse to pour themselves another drink and forget about it, as non-Muslims are wont to do.

If the government cannot see that complaining about terrorism which is the consequence of its policy of bombing and invading Muslim countries while letting in large numbers of Muslim immigrants is like stirring hornets' nests and complaining about being stung, then it is probably not fit for purpose.

Our government cannot be fit for purpose if it feels obliged to follow a foreign policy that reaps Britain no benefits but cannot give us a convincing explanation of it.

Our government cannot be fit for purpose if it is unable to explain the reasons for the causes and address the consequences of large-scale immigration.

If democracy is about passing the parcel from one government to another and one party to another and one leader to another until it blows up then perhaps we should ask ourselves if democracy is indeed the best form of government, if its operation prevents us from questioning the past, acknowledging mistakes and correcting them.

Perhaps a consideration more important democracy would be good government.

How do we know we have good government?

When laws are few, taxes and crime low and our politicians respected.

  3. One of the best things you've written Claire.

Though do Muslims really believe in democracy?

  4. Thanks.

We should all - Muslim or not - be more interested in the principles of good government than "democracy".

If the operation of democracy does not produce good government and prevents mistakes from being corrected, then it is it is time to dump it.
