@ProgressOnline @OwenJones84 Labour cd offer to merge with @Conservatives and call this new party the ConLab Party. You know it makes sense!
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 16, 2015
@ProgressOnline @OwenJones84 Once the ConLab Party is formed you could both persuade @UKIP to join and we can have a lovely one party state!
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 16, 2015
@ProgressOnline @OwenJones84 Once we have a one-party state we cd have annual elections like the Chartists wanted. You know it makes sense!
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 16, 2015
@ProgressOnline @OwenJones84 Many of you will regard this as a bit of a hard sell, but I think I can explain it to @Keir_Starmer.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 16, 2015
@Keir_Starmer I suppose it is wiser to adopt wait and see approach rather than be associated with the years of wilderness Labour will be in.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@Keir_Starmer You really should have a go now that @TristramHuntMP has dropped out. Metrosexual Labour needs representation! #keirforleader
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@Keir_Starmer @OweniteAdam guess we'll have to wait for defeat in 2020 before you'll stand
— John Ellison (@johnellison) May 17, 2015
@NariceB Have you really not heard of the Nazi-Soviet Pact?
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@NariceB Would you describe @frankfieldteam @frankfieldmp @PeterBoneMP as "extreme"? http://t.co/GZZgnluKyP What does @Keir_Starmer think?
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames You're just dismissing it out of hand because it seems a bit radical to you.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames Labour needs the deal more than the Tories, of course, but they might as well all work together.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames If the unions are bounce Labour members into voting for their man it will be 10 years in wilderness.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
— Hierophant (@Predicati0n) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames So much of democracy is just waiting around waiting for things to go wrong, isn't it?
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@NariceB The average voter will go for metrosexual male. They really cannot abide someone with a regional accent. Think of Kinnock.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@NariceB Do not confuse what you think Labour members think they want or you will end up like the Green Party.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@NariceB If the unions cannot abide another metrosexual Labour leader they should just throw in their lot with the TUSC.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@NariceB Liz Kendall is a clever lady but what is needed is a legally-trained *man*.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames Not really. In 2010 Cameron promised to mirror Labour spending plans for first 3 years of his government.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames Don't pretend you haven't heard Cameron saying again and again how much he cares about the NHS.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames Unions are angry with Labour because they aren't getting what they want and threatening to withdraw support
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@msjenniferjames What @LouWhitehead21 is saying is that @Conservatives and @UKLabour are "completely ideologically opposed". Not true.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames The election campaign was a laugh. Labour saying they r business friendly, Tories they are NHS friendly.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames Con or Lab? ConLab or LabCon? It makes NO DIFFERENCE.
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames The sheeple can be safely ignored if the political classes co-ordinate their action, eh, @Keir_Starmer?
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames All I am saying is with the political will a transition into a 1-party state cd be managed. @Keir_Starmer
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
@LouWhitehead21 @msjenniferjames I imagine there are some Labour MPs who would rather be in government sooner than later. @Keir_Starmer
— Claire Khaw (@ntfem) May 20, 2015
Frank Field agrees was the one who gave me this idea at

A national government is really a polite term for a one-party state, and a proper de jure one-party state would allow party members to work together better.
If we are to have a one-party state then party members' rights must be protected and the best way of protecting the rights of members is to remove the office of the whip as Peter Bone proposed at http://s477308942.websitehome.co.uk//parliament/2010/10/peter-bone-seeks-to-abolish-the-flatterers-cajolers-and-sometime-bullies-that-are-the-party-whips.html
If we are to have a one-party state then the party's administrative decisions should be subject to judicial review as a public body. The Indian courts have already affirmed this principle.

How we can have a one-party state that would protect the rights of its members: by subjecting its administrative decisions to judicial review as a public body
