I deal with alleged Koranic contradictions

A LIST OF ALLEGED KORANIC CONTRADICTIONS
"96:2 contradicted by 15:26, 3:59, 19.67, 52:35 and 16:4.

2:256 contradicted by 9:3, 9:5, 9:29

39:12 contradicted by 7:143, 2:132

4:48 by, 4:116, 4:153

6:34 by 6:115, 2:106 and 16:101

10:90-92 by 17:102-103

5:90 by 47:15 and 83:22-25

these are some examples of direct contradicitions and it is well known, that the quran is a mess of a book with diverting possitions which contradict each other. As i mentioned before, the rule that if a sura contradicts another, then the older one precedes the newer one, didnt fall out of thin air, it is there for a reason.

Why do you think felt muslims the need to add the hadith? Because the quran is such a lousy peace of work, that it wasnt clear what rules to follow, looks like god doesnt know what he wants."

MY RESPONSE

6:2
"Created man from a clinging substance."

15:26
"And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud."

Secular Koranism ignores all the claims, promise and threats of the Koran and only considers its commandments and prohibitions.

3:59
"Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was."

19:67
"Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?"

Secular Koranism ignores all the claims, promise and threats of the Koran and only considers its commandments and prohibitions.

52:35
"Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?"
16:4
"He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary."

Secular Koranism ignores all the claims, promise and threats of the Koran and only considers its commandments and prohibitions.

2:256
"There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing."

9:3
"And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allah . And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment."

The punishment referred to in 9:3 can only be meted out by God in the afterlife.

9:5
"And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

9:29
"Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled."

9:5 is restricted to the particular battle that Muhammad fought. 9:29 applies to other Muslim leaders.

39:12
"And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims."
2:132 "And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], "O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims."

7:143 "And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You." [ Allah ] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, "Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers."

Secular Koranism ignores all the claims, promise and threats of the Koran and only considers its commandments and prohibitions.

4:48
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin."

4:116
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray."

4:153
"The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses [even] greater than that and said, "Show us Allah outright," so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [for worship] after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority."

All three verses forbid idolatry.

6:34
"And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah . And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers."

6:115
"And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing."

2:106
"We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?"

16:101 "And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know."

Secular Koranism ignores all the claims, promise and threats of the Koran and only considers its commandments and prohibitions.

10:90
"And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims."
10:91 "Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters?"
10:92  "So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless"

17:102
"[Moses] said, "You have already known that none has sent down these [signs] except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as evidence, and indeed I think, O Pharaoh, that you are destroyed."
17:103
"So he intended to drive them from the land, but We drowned him and those with him all together."

What is the contradiction you claim exists?

5:90
"O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful."

47:15
"Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?"

83:22
"Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure"
83:23
"On adorned couches, observing."
83:24
"You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure."
83:25
"They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed."

Obviously, the rules in Paradise are different to the earth that we all inhabit!
