Very often Jews are blamed for all sorts of things by nationalists, for example, corrupting the morals of the gentile in order to weaken and exploit them more easily or some such guff like that.
But not all Jews are the same. There are Jews who are instinctively and unashamedly Zionist, and those like the Neturei Karta who think that the modern State of Israel has no legitimacy and should be dismantled.

However, the special position occupied by Jews, as being God's Chosen People who created an omnipotent and moral God and the duty this entails must surely be borne in mind by the conscientious Jew.
Liberal and secular Jews are of course the antithesis of the values contained in their holy books, just as liberal and secular Christians and Muslims - who promote sexual licence and promiscuity insisting in the teeth of all evidence that sexual morality is nothing to do with general morality - are the antithesis of the moral values contained in the Bible and the Koran.

But the Federation Beth Din head, Dayan Yisroel Lichtenstein, came to Lord Sacks's defence.
"The Chief Rabbi is someone who speaks on moral issues and ethical values," he said.
"By virtue of his position, he represents the Torah point of view. There is an obligation on Jewish people, as we consider ourselves as a beacon of morality to the world, to teach what is right and what is wrong."
This is of course a view that Muslims could easily echo, for the Koran imposes upon them a duty to enjoin good and forbid evil.

I complained to a Muslim that Muslims appear to be neglecting their duty to God as they did not appear to be doing that much enjoining of good or forbidding of evil, and only go on and on and on about Israel boring everyone else silly, and his response was that Muslims in Britain these days are afraid of attracting more attention to themselves and don't want to be hated any more than they know they are already hated.
