Descendants of cannon fodder complain about British foreign policy and the genetic and moral damage it caused to the British race. Gentiles being cruel to Jews should not surprise anyone who has seen Fiddler on the Roof or read The Merchant of Venice. Anti-Semitism has always been endemic in Christian Europe and the Catholic Church was clearly to blame.  


St. Pius V in the bull Hebraeorum gens (26 February 1569) did not reference blood libel, but he did make multiple accusations against the Jews, including: usury, theft, receiving stolen goods, pimping, divination and magic. He finishes with this accusation: "Finally, we have sufficiently investigated and explored how unworthily this perverse race attacks the name of Christ; how much hated it is by all those who bear that name; and, finally, with what cunning it plots against their lives."

Pope Benedict XIV wrote a bull Beatus Andreas (22 February 1755) in which he does not express any doubt concerning the murders of children ascribed to the Jews. He states they are perpetrated "out of hatred of Christ" and "out of hatred for the Christian faith" in his De servorum Dei beatificatione. In the bull he speaks about determining what is to be done "when there arises a case of this sort, which often comes to be put forward, concerning some boy who was slain by the Hebrews in Holy Week out of hostility to Christ, such as Blessed Simon and Anderl and also many of the other murdered boys whom the authors mention".

The Edict of Expulsion has not yet been repealed.

Democracies are *not* inherently more peace-loving than dictatorships

It had no insurgents, only terrorists. So if we look at the modern United States and the late Roman Empire, we can see some similarities."

Those of you who know what happened to Athens, who exhausted itself through warfare, is that the Athenians kept voting again and again for war ....

It is truly laughable that Britain, who involved itself in two world wars that were really none of its business and lost its world empire as a result, did so because a Liberal Prime Minister thought fighting a short successful war in 1914 would make it more likely for the Liberal Party to win the 1915 General Election. What happened when the war it participated in turned really nasty? Why, the election was cancelled, of course.

It has been said that WW2 was a continuation of WW1. What, then, was WW1 all about? Britain declared war against Germany because of the Belgian neutrality German troops would violate on their way to France. This was the Belgian neutrality guaranteed in the Treaty of London in 1839.  Did Britain lift a finger to help France during the siege of Paris in 1870? There is nothing peaceable about democracies at all. Voters in democracies don't give a damn whom their politicians murder and whose countries they destroy as long as their taxes are low and public spending high. Many apparently educated Britons are quite convinced that Russia is the more militarily aggressive country even as they themselves are aware that their governments have invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, bombed Libya and Syria. This is what Orwell would have called doublethink.

Do voters in democracies feel well-governed?

The answer can be discerned in how well the anti-establishment Trump is doing in the Presidential primaries and how prepared voters are to believe in conspiracy theories. A significant number of people in the West believe that their governments would actually bomb them and then pretend it was Muslim terrorists who did it, and use that as an excuse to bomb and invade more Muslim countries as well as depriving Western citizens of their liberty and privacy.

Soon, a Caliphate will seem like a sensible replacement for the mess we're in now.

Eddy Butler:

I am standing in the 2015 General Election in Harlow for the English Democrats.

I chose to stand in Harlow because it is the next constituency to where I live and I stood here in 2010.

The English Democrats deserve to be supported because they are the only party to campaign specifically for England.

The position of England in the Union is likely to come under the microscope with the so-called Scottish Nationalists seemingly determined to interfere in English affairs.

I totally support the setting up of an English Parliament to redress the imbalances caused by devolution – although I am in the wing of the English Democrats that does not favour independence.
The English Democrats represent that brand of moderate sensible nationalism that has a widespread appeal with the electorate.

At present the overwhelming majority of like-minded voters are attracted to UKIP - which shares many of the same attitudes as the EDs – over Europe and migration for example.

I hope UKIP do very well in this election and I look forward to them winning a number of seats.

Harlow is a strong seat for UKIP but is not one of their targets. I would not have stood against them if it was one of their targets. Incidentally I defeated the UKIP candidate in the 2010 election here, although I got on very well with him personally.

Politics is an uncertain business. UKIP might implode of they perform worse than expected – if Nigel Farage fails to get elected for example. I hope he does get elected – but he might not and in such circumstances the EDs might very well take up the challenge. That is another reason why it is essential that the EDs remain in the game.

The EDs are likely to be standing in the sixth or seventh highest number of seats of any party in England.

Apart from UKIP, the EDs are the only viable patriotic party in being.

They deserve your support – and I am showing my support by standing for the EDs in the General Election.

"The main difference about the EDS is that we support the creation of an English Parliament. 
Otherwise quite similar to UKIP. The English Parliament issue is likely to grow in prominence in the years ahead.

I would oppose moves to build more houses and make Harlow bigger – as I oppose building on the Green belt and making conditions overcrowded with to much pressure on the infrastructure – schools, health, roads, water systems etc.

I support innovation and extra emphasis placed on research and development – which used to be key sectors in Harlow’s economy.

As MP I would speak out on these issues – and warn of  the creeping danger of Islamic extremism
