Why we should Use God, even if we do not believe that He exists

The key to understanding God is to know that while we think we would like to be like Him, ie unique and omnipotent, the correct moral aspiration is to be able to use God for the good of humanity.

This means using God to assist us in our politics, law and government, whether we believe in Him or not, and behaving as if He did exist.  If that is too difficult, then imagine a tabloid journalist following you everywhere until you die, so that you modify your behaviour accordingly.
