British Nationalists to attend LSE event on 13 March?

John Breuilly is professor of nationalism and ethnicity at LSE.

Dr Faisal Devji is reader in Indian History, St. Antony's College, University of Oxford.

Dr Mark Hewitson is senior lecturer in German History and Politics in the Department of German at University College London.

This event will be followed by a reception in the Senior Common Room, 5th Floor, Old Building.

It really does sound fearfully dull, but it is an evening event from 6.30 to 8.00 and there will be an opportunity for nationalists to rub shoulders and discuss their ideas with academics over a glass of wine while being served with canapes.

London nationalists attending will no doubt find it bemusing to hear of themselves and their ideas discussed with the formality and detachment so customary of academia.  Surely Nick Griffin himself should be attending?

If he is too busy to attend because he will be in Brussels working for the European Parliament and the EU then perhaps he should send a representative.

I will let Peter Rushton and Lady Renouf of  http://jailingopinions.com/ know about this too.  I am not sure if David Irving the historian and the great raconteur will be in the country then but will let him know too.

It is beginning to sound very interesting after all!

I do hope that the LSE are not going to be snooty about nationalists and find some excuse to exclude us from the talk or not give us wine and canapes.  Let us hope not.
