The purpose of the sanctification of the Holocaust is also to sanctify Britain's role in declaring two World Wars against Germany. It was in fact a crude dog-in the-manger attempt to prevent Germany from rivalling and surpassing Britain.

It was contemplated that a short successful war would assist the Liberal Party in winning the General Election of 1915 which, for reasons which are now only too obvious, was cancelled.
