Answers to my questions on Christian idolatry and Shia sectarianism

1) Is Christianity is idolatrous?

1. Christianity in its present form is idolatrous. It's tenets, namely divinity of Christ, sonship of Christ, the Trinity, Mary worship and crucifixion are all denounced by the Quran.

2)  Are the Shia guilty of sectarianism?

2. Any group that breaks away from the main body of Muslims is guilty of sectarianism. As far as the shia are concerned this has to be seen on a case by case basis. Some have introduced innovative and heretical beliefs, such as reincarnation of Ali, the Prophets cousin as a God on.earth. such definitely take them out of the fold of Islam. While other shia do not have such beliefs, and believe the same as other Muslims do and perform their worship in the same way. About them, it can be said they are not creating divisions and are part of the Muslim ummah.

3)  Should Christians be admonished by Muslims citing quran.com/18/4?

3. Beliefs of Christians qualify them for hellfire, therefore it is vital to admonish them so that they rectify their beliefs and restore them to what it was that Jesus originally taught, ie Monotheism.
The Quran is replete with such admonishments aimed at Christians.
