Two Chinese men wonder why the Americans have gone mad

11:00  Pompeo's speech calling on the Chinese people to rise up against their government was described as "irritating", "mean" and "spiteful". They decide it is probably due to a combination of America having to deal with its internal problems - race riots, lockdown, jealousy at China's success and a particularly severe case of  electionitis this year caused by the fear of regime change by both the Party of the Donkey and the Party of the Elephant.

"No head of foreign affairs of any country would be making such a speech that is so full of meanness and spitefulness, devoid of diplomacy or subtlety, only full of hostility directed at the government of another country. It's blatant interference in the internal affairs of China saying how it should be governed by which party. It's really not the business of the Americans. The US attempt to change China will ultimately be futile because the approval rating of the Chinese government of between 90 to 93% is probably the highest in the world. The Chinese government have done a wonderful job over the past 40 plus years and there's no reason for the Chinese people to change their government."
