The difference between an apatheist and a nihilist

An apatheist is someone indifferent to the existence of God.

Apatheism therefore means belief or disbelief in God would not influence the behaviour of the apatheist. I am an apatheist.

How is an apatheist to be distinguished from a nihilist?

Presumably, an apatheist has a moral code that will be followed whether or not God is believed to exist.

On the other hand, a nihilist is an atheist who denies the existence of God and God-given morality. If he obeys the law, it would be only because he wishes to avoid the law's punishment.

An apatheist is therefore more morally centred than the nihilist, who is assumed to have his or her own code of morality that will be followed irrespective of whether it is believed God exists.

An apatheist who is not a nihilist should at least submit to Truth, Logic and Morality and be prepared to answer questions on the definition of morality and which moral system is better. They should at least be prepared to discuss which of the gentile religions is most Noahide and which the least.
