I explain Secular Koranism to Henry Key of Australia from 2:04:00

2:04:00  My reputation precedes me! The previous guest has heard of me.
2:05:00  Koranism
2:06:00  Reforming Islam
Stoning
2:07:00  The only way for the West to reform Islam is to adopt it.
Conspiracy theorists promote conspiracy theories as a way of showing hatred for their government.
2:08:00  Agnosticism as I understand it
2:09:00  Traffic light beliefs about the existence of God
2:10:00  The utility of the Abrahamic God
Different options available in the Koran on alcohol
2:12:00  The law is objective morality
2:13:00  Shura is the Koranic duty for consultation.

2:14:00  "Essential workers" and "essential services"

The meaning of words and how we use them have an impact on whether we succeed or fail

Liberty is what we ought to have after all the necessary laws are in place.
Our laws should be in harmony with our chosen moral system.
2:18:00  Apostasy
2:19:00  One party state in a stable society
2:20:00  Breakdown of the family
2:22:00  Statistical probability of criminality of those who grew up in fatherless homes
2:23:00  Immigration
2:24:00  Only Secular Koranism would restore the patriarchy in Western nations.
2:25:00  Islam is holistic.
The difference between being totalitarian and authoritarian.
2:27:00  quran.com/2/256
2:28:00  How would Secular Koranism come about?
2:29:00  Petitioning Parliament to debate a one-party theocracy
2:31:00  How I would sell Secular Koranism to the political classes
2:32:00  Christianity has failed.
2:33:00  Cultural Christians
The distinction between religion and politics is a distinction without a difference.

2:35:00  Politicians are also afraid to discuss politics and religion. David Cameron discovered that even saying Britain was a Christian country in 2014 became controversial.
In 1892, Americans litigated in the US Supreme Court over whether America was a Christian nation.

Religion is a moral system.

2:37:00  The culture of Pakistan
2:38:00  The cancel culture of the West
2:39:00  A Hypothetical Supreme Authority
2:40:00  A hierarchical society is crucial to creating a culture accountability.
2:24:00  An oligarchy or a monopoly?
2:46:00  Non-Muslims can be law students, enter the legal profession and join the judiciary under Secular Koranism.
2:47:00  The rights of members in Western political parties and the Chinese Communist Party
2:48:00  The priorities of Western politicians
2:50:00  Muslim speaks.

2:51:00  Secular Koranism is only interested in the dos and don'ts of the Koran. (My apologies to Al Sadiq if I came across as dismissive and abrupt. I was trying to say that Muslims will already know how to be Muslim and what to believe as Muslims but Secular Koranism is really a system for Westerners who have come to the conclusion that their moral and political system have failed and want to replace it with a better one without necessarily wanting to convert to Islam. It is possible that in a few generations most of them will become Muslim, but I want people to understand that adopting Secular Koranism just means adopting the dos and don'ts of the Koran without requiring anyone to believe in any of its narratives. Forcing anyone to believe in this way would be forcible conversion and I have to keep emphasising that freedom of belief is guaranteed by quran.com/2/256)

2:53:00  Banning usury

2:58:00  The First Amendment is based on quran.com/2/256

3:04:00  I explain how I came to Secular Koranism.

3:06:00  Usury
