Did Ali Harbi Ali murder David Amess to embarrass his father Harbi Ali Kullane who signed the Djibouti Agreement?

I think I have pretty much worked out why Ali Harbi Ali murdered David Amess: to embarrass his father. 

It will be an interesting case for lawyers though because if I am right, the motives would be mixed: would it be an act of terrorism if he only killed Amess to embarrass his father because he disapproved of his father signing the Djibouti Agreement?
