At the age 18, Wood attempted to murder his father by striking him with a hammer, an act he later attributed to his youth as an atheist and a diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder (sociopathy).
Wood was sentenced to 10 years in prison for malicious wounding but was released earlier.
His past violent criminal history and recent confessions regarding prior sexual offenses have drawn significant criticism and controversy alongside his apologetic work.
Cluster B personality disorders are the consequence of a lack of moral education. Lack of moral education is caused by not having a functioning moral system in the West.
