A reason for pet-lovers to become Muslim

God, who is said to be the source of The Koran, must have anticipated the 21st century pet-lover, for He promises in the Koran:

YUSUFALI: There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.
PICKTHAL: There is not an animal in the earth, nor a flying creature flying on two wings, but they are peoples like unto you. We have neglected nothing in the Book (of Our decrees). Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.
SHAKIR: And there is no animal that walks upon the earth nor a bird that flies with its two wings but (they are) genera like yourselves; We have not neglected anything in the Book, then to their Lord shall they be gathered.

Pets go to heaven if they are good to join their owners if they too are good.  Pet owners must therefore be good.  

Arguing over Allah

Muslims in Malaysia are objecting to a Catholic publication in Malay referring to the Muslim God as "Allah" (Al = The, Lah -= God). You would have thought they would be pleased. They say only Muslims can refer to their God as "Allah". By this logic it would mean that atheists cannot refer to the Christian God as "God"? Ridiculous!

I am FUMING that a Malay and Muslim schoolfriend has not only defriended me on Facebook, but has asked her friends and family to do so too.

She has also deleted me from the Facebook group consisting of former classmates, which she runs.

She is the daughter of a Sultan and claims that I have insulted Malays and Muslims. This is outrageous as it was she who asked my opinion in the first place. I also deny that it was my intention to insult Muslims or Malays or that anything I have said could reasonably be interpreted to be insulting, unless it is an offence in itself to disagree with her and that she speaks for all Muslims and Malays??

OFFICIAL: Christian God and Muslim God one and the same.

Omnipotent and unique deity a generic idea. What you call it indicative of whether you are Jew ("Yahweh") , Christian ("Jehovah") or Muslim ("Allah").

World peace might be better served if we mixed it all up.

I propose "YahHoLah".
