There was a time when Christians were considered a cult by the Romans.

Nobody would want that for themselves ie to be persecuted and thrown to the lions for the amusement of Romans in the Games.

As regards mental health, I think I am in Grade 1 and you are somewhere between Grade 5 and 7.

Narcissists who lie to maintain their levels of narcissism destroy themselves and their reputations by their lies

People with narcissistic personality disorder destroy their own mental health by telling others and themselves lies to keep up their levels of self-esteem. But the act of believing in these lies or behaving as if they thought they were true destroys their mental health because of the constant cognitive dissonance they are forced to encounter when people disagree with them and criticise them. 

Why is making a movie so costly? Because it requires great creativity and resources to create a believable piece of fiction. 

People are assumed to tell the truth because it is easier to just say what you think is the truth.  Lying is an active act.  You don't call telling the truth "truthing", but lying is a creative act requiring an act of imagination and creativity to think of, speak and spread the lie.

Rise in serious incidents at English mental health trusts

Who are these people with mental health problems? Is it the result of bad parenting? Let their parents take responsibility for them then. I bet the parents of these people are unfit mothers who apparently couldn't grasp the link between careless copulation, unwanted pregnancy, single parenting, bad parenting and mentally ill offspring who are a burden to themselves and the state.

Once we shame mental illness again, people will start suppressing their symptoms again instead of burdening everyone else with their bad mental health.

I feel it would be constructive to divided bad mental health into the following categories:

1. FEELING SAD
2. BEING BAD
3. BEING MAD

Those in the BEING BAD category should just be dealt with by the Criminal Justice system.

Those who are feeling sad should be asked to try believing in God and cultivating a personal relationship with Him.

Those in the third category could be confined to mental asylums, but only if they are curable and apparently harmless.

Those who are not curable can be invited to consider euthanasia or their next of kin invited to do so.

Those who are criminally insane and obviously homicidal would proceed straight to euthanasia, not passing go and not collecting £200.

How to reform the NHS

One of the most rational ways is perhaps to categorise illnesses and conditions under the following categories:

1.  painful, life-threatening and easy and cheap to treat
2.  painful, not life-threatening and not easy to treat
3.  painful, life-threatening and difficult and expensive to treat


Perhaps we should have hospitals and clinics divided into these categories.

The easy to treat and cheap in Category 1 should be given priority.

The not so easy to treat should be given less priority.

The most difficult to treat should be given least priority.  

A visit to the GP should tell us what which category our condition or disease falls under.


No mental health issues will be treated by the NHS.  

People with mental health issues will be neglected, ignored in the hope that they will go away ie commit suicide and solve the problem of their own existence all by themselves, unless they have friends and family who want to help them with their mental health issues at their own expense or set up a charity.
