It is quite clear that Hawking does not understanding the meaning of the word "God".
God is a Man-created concept, a miscellaneous file to say that, while he does not know the answer to something, he can still pretend that he knows someone or something who does know the answer to all the things he cannot possibly know or can do the things he cannot possibly do.
Everyone can agree that the concept of God most certainly exists.
