Got a question about the Catholic faith but never had a chance to ask?

My questions are:

  1. Is the West as Christian as a skeleton used to be human?
  2. Is Christianity kaput?
  3. Has the Catholic Church been absorbed into the matriarchy?
  4. Is the Catholic Church capable of regaining its moral authority within our lifetimes?
  5. Will the Catholic Church be capable of regaining its morality authority after our lifetimes?
  6. If the Catholic Church is capable of regaining its moral authority, ever, how do you envisage this coming about?
  7. If the Catholic Church is not capable of regaining its morality, should Catholics convert to Islam if they wish to respect the institutions of marriage and the family and protect themselves from the degeneracy of feminism?
  8. Is the next Pope likely to be even more liberal than the current one?
  9. Is the Catholic Church increasingly resembling the Anglican Church?
  10. Is there a purpose to the Catholic Church if it no longer teaches Catholic teaching?
  11. Can the Catholic Church protect its members against an increasingly dominant matriarchy, or should it pass this burden to Islam?
  12. Is sedevacantism the way forward for traditional Catholics?

I posted these at https://www.facebook.com/schooloftheannunciation/timeline but they were almost immediately deleted and then I was disabled from making further comments.

1. Is the West as Christian as a skeleton used to be human?
Much of Western society is grounded on Judeo-Christian principles so in many ways, yes, although Western society appears to be abandoning this heritage at an alarming rate!
2. Is Christianity kaput? No I don't think so.
3. Has the Catholic Church been absorbed into the matriarchy? Not sure what this question means.
4. Is the Catholic Church capable of regaining its moral authority within our lifetimes? Yes, I think so, but it depends on a well argued and consistant, intellectual approach.
5. Will the Catholic Church be capable of regaining its morality authority after our lifetimes? See above.
6. If the Catholic Church is capable of regaining its moral authority, ever, how do you envisage this coming about? q.v.
7. If the Catholic Church is not capable of regaining its morality, should Catholics convert to Islam if they wish to respect the institutions of marriage and the family and protect themselves from the degeneracy of feminism? No. I don't see very much compatibility between the two ideologies.
8. Is the next Pope likely to be even more liberal than the current one? I would predict a swig back to orthodoxy.
9. Is the Catholic Church increasingly resembling the Anglican Church? In this country, sadly, many seem to be trying to push it in that direction.
10. Is there a purpose to the Catholic Church if it no longer teaches Catholic teaching? No.
11. Can the Catholic Church protect its members against an increasingly dominant matriarchy, or should it pass this burden to Islam? This question is a nonsense, as it is predicated on a false assertion.
12. Is sedevacantism the way forward for traditional Catholics? No.

With regard to your answer to question 2, Islam is waxing and Christianity is waning. Islam at least claims it has all the answers, while Christians seem to avoid the questions it cannot answer.

Re question 3, the matriarchy is defined as a society of feminists, and feminism is an ideology that asserts the right of everyone to have premarital sex. Most adults in Britain assume that it is their right to have extramarital sex, don't they? I happen to know that fornication is a mortal sin though this is news to many Christians including Catholics when I point this out.

Re your answer to question 4, I interpret it to mean that you hope so.

Re your answer to question 5, I interpret it to mean that you hope so.

Re your answer to question 6, I interpret it to mean that you have no idea.

Re your answer to question 7. I am surprised that you cannot see that both the Bible and the Koran promote patriarchal moral values ie forbidding extramarital sex.

Re your answer to question 8, I interpret it to mean that you hope so, without quite seeing how it would come about.

Re your answer to question 11, what false assertion are you referring to?
