The two principles any human being should have

1) Submitting to the Truth

2) Being guided by Reason

Do I even need to explain why?

Even if we are not guided by morality and are psychopathic serial killers, we would still need to perceive the truth and be guided by reason to obtain pleasure and avoid capture.
