We live in a world of competing moral systems. Each religion is a moral system and each political ideology is also a moral system.
What is most noticeable is that all the five world religions have lasted much longer than any of the political ideologies you can think of.
The West is now at war with each over Trump and Brexit and this is due to the failure of its religion and political system.
Trump and Brexit represent Patriarchy trying to reassert itself over a degenerate and self-destructive Matriarchy.
Christianity is kaput because it has not protected the Westerner from the matriarchy. Also, its corruptible and corrupt clergy are about to be swept away in a tsunami of sex scandals.
The most enduring sysytem of government is not actually democracy which lasted but a short time in Ancient Greece. As for Republican Rome, its duration was noticeably shorter than that of Imperial Rome.
Now that we have acknowledged the failure of Christianity, it only remains for us to choose its replacement. It is really not so very difficult if we look at things logically.
Hinduism and Buddhism are alien to Western traditions and all advanced civilisations require the rule of law that can be attributed to the Supreme Being that is the Abrahamic God.
The efficacy of His laws is amply demonstrated by the existence and success of the Jews.
Since Christianity is kaput and Judaism is for Jews only, there remains only one Abrahamic faith waiting in the wings.
