THE VOICE OF REASON Solon, (born c. 630 BCE—died c. 560 BCE), Athenian statesman, known as one of the Seven Wise Men of Greece (the others were Chilon of Sparta, Thales of Miletus, Bias of Priene, Cleobulus of Lindos, Pittacus of Mytilene, and Periander of Corinth). Solon ended exclusive aristocratic control of the government, substituted a system of control by the wealthy, and introduced a new and more humane law code. He was also a noted poet.

China prepared to go to war over Taiwan

3:00 Washington is using Taiwan like a pawn.
4:00 China intends to thwart and contain the independence of Taiwan and will take action to do so.
Article 8 of the Anti-Secession law authorises PLA (People's Liberation Army) to resolve the Taiwan problem by non-peaceful means.
The message to be conveyed to Taiwan is that pursuing independence is a dead end.
Anyone defying this law will be punished severely.
The PLA has the will, confidence and capability to safeguard national sovereignty.
