The correct term for white privilege

So-called white privilege is really imperial privilege. Obviously, not all white people benefited from Western imperialism, especially not the cannon fodder for imperial wars and not the victims of uncontrolled immigration. Globohomo will soon be gone and with it neoconservatism and neoliberalism. Empires fall because they are always run on a margin and America has received yet another margin call it cannot ignore. It will have to crystallise its losses soon. Britain had to give up its world empire when it "won" WW2. The Spanish lost the its important territories in the New World when Napoleon invaded the Iberian peninsula and they failed to wage a successful defensive war. Loss of face can lead to loss of empire since the only reason why one keeps one's empire is the perception of the ability to defend it.

When you have kneeling policemen and kneeling National Guardsmen, you are just like an old man falling over on the pavement. You could be dead, you could be merely unconscious and you may regain consciousness only to discover you need a hip replacement.

This is how loss of face leads to loss of empire, but since all empires are logically and necessarily multiracial and multicultural, loss of empire should lead to self-reflection and the acknowledgement of errors made and sins committed. That would be the silver lining.
