What I have noticed about philosophers in employment in academia is that they take care not to produce original material and post instead pretty pictures with poems, quotes or jokes.
This suggests an attempt to attract attention safely with the particular purpose of never saying anything controversial in the hope of not being "cancelled".
If philosophy is about wisdom, then jokes and tired quotes from philosophers associated with nihilism are not particularly helpful.
If philosophy is about wisdom, then it must be about what should or shouldn't be done after establishing what can or can't be done after establishing what is or isn't the case.
I say that the West is a matriarchy which is a bad thing. I also suggest a solution, which would be a good thing if my solution were in theory viable and in practice capable of being implemented.
It is revealing that these philosophers refuse to engage in the exercise of asking and answering obvious questions to create a Hegelian dialectic, even if one of them specialises in Hegel. He also identifies as a liberal after having declared that he has made a principle of not having principles, and seems to resent being identified as a nihilist, even if nihilists are known for not having principles.
