Someone suggested that Rory Bremner stand in, which sounds an excellent idea.
I would certainly audition for the job.
What I think would be a lot of fun is if Peter Mandelson and I could co-host the Andrew Marr Show. I have been interviewed on TV a few times, so I think I would be able to acquit myself fairly well before too long, with the right kind of support, management, hairdo and training.
Given enough time to loosen up properly, I could blossom into something resembling Dame Edna Everage, and dear Peter could be my Madge, perhaps. And then we would swap roles the next show.
