It's only for retired and fallen politicians who need something to top up their income, rather like footballers whose careers have come to an end wanting compo from the Football Association for being sexually abused as a child when they never complained at the time, not even to their parents. If he wants to angle for a position, he should be up to challenging and discussing my ideas, or even more daringly, agreeing with them.

Andrea Leadsom, a Tory, pronounced that the Tory Chancellor should apologise to the Labour Shadow Chancellor for saying he "had questions to answer".

What the Chancellor said was hardly controversial, you would have thought.  Labour was in government during the time when the LIBOR was being manipulated, and certainly have questions to answer.

Yet no Tory has criticised this woman who by any standards would be considered guilty of the most breathtaking disloyalty.  If she was not being incredibly disloyal then it was the worst case of foot in the mouth-ism ever suffered by a politician.

Mrs Leadsom used to work for Barclays.  Does getting Ed Balls off the hook get Labour off the hook?  Does getting Labour off the hook get Barclays off the hook?  What would be it in for Mrs Leadsom if she got Ed Balls,  Labour and Barclays off the hook?

Is it impossible that Barclays could be offering Mrs Leadsom a nice little backhander to get Ed Balls, Labour and Barclays off the hook by humiliating the Tory Chancellor?

I do hope there are investigative journalists worth their salt in this country left.

Or perhaps the matriarchy has destroyed their careers.

I have just realised that George Osborne was such a coward he changed his name from Gideon Oliver to George, because he thought it would make his life a little easier.  

Now he wants to sacrifice the privacy of politicians to appease the politician-hating voter who will never be appeased if they remain the stupid, cowardly hypocritical shits they are.  

Once this happens even more fools and knaves will enter British politics.  

I like to think Ken Livingstone has enough chutzpah to get away with not revealing his tax affairs even if he was the one who goaded Boris the Buffon into revealing his.

Gordon Brown is a good man but wrong. Blair is a bad man.

He says if there were an election tomorrow, the BNP would win.

Disgruntled Tories are now in UKIP and disgruntled Labourites have defected to the BNP.

His nightmare guests would be the Notting Hill set, ie Cameron and Osborne, who thinks he is part of the nasty party who used to win elections. These people aren't my friends, he says.

He also points out that the sheer professionalism of political campaigning can lead politicians astray. (Politicians are basically told to dump all their core values in pursuit of a few swing voters in marginal constituencies.)

Expediency over conviction is the road to perdition.

The electorate will have no choice when all the mainstream political parties spout the same liberal PC claptrap, ie "Compassionate" Conservatism AKA Socialism AKA refusal to cut any public spending no matter how wasteful for fear of unpopularity, resulting in the following:

1) They will become cynical and apathetic.

2) They will hold politicians in hatred, ridicule and contempt, and want to string them up to the nearest lamp-post.

3) They will vote BNP.
