Calling anti-immigrant sentiment fascism is to flatter it

It is idiotic even dignifying the resentment of foreigners people feel when there are too many of them as something as sophisticated as a political ideology called fascism.

It is indigenous working men who most notice the adverse effects of having large numbers of immigrants in their country.

If they are not in a union they are not represented, because the British Labour Party doesn't care about them.

Male Tory MPs are not interested in addressing the grievances of the the working man in unsklled manual labour because they believe they are already represented by the Labour Party.

Neither are female Tory MPs.

As for indigenous female MPs in the Labour Party, the people they most despise are lower class men of their own race.

What about male Labour MPs, you ask?

Male Labour MPs don't think it is worth their while supporting the non-unionised urban proletarian males because there are no votes in this.

The contempt women feel for men of a class lower than theirs is visceral, instinctive and probably ineradicable because of their inbuilt hypergamy.

The only people who can and will represent the interests of the beta male can only be the alpha male.
In a matriarchy there is no alpha male, and we live in a matriarchy.

Indian court holds political parties to be public bodies amenable to judicial review while UK Court of Appeal does not: who is right?

"In view of the nature of public functions performed by political parties...we conclude that political parties in question are public authorities under section 2(h) of the RTI Act," the Bench, comprising Chief Information Commissioner Satyanand Mishra and Information Commissioners Annapurna Dixit and M L Sharma, said.

Adrian Hilton the Conservative academic, theologian and educationalist blocks Claire Khaw on Twitter

Adrian Hilton is a conservative academic, theologian and educationalist.

If Adrian Hilton is so clever why can't he tell me what I have said that is untrue, illogical or intellectually and morally indefensible?

Perhaps he is not that clever after all.

If he is not that clever and I am cleverer than he is, then why isn't the Conservative Party listening to me instead?

Is it cos they are stupid too?

Dominic Cummings is my kinda guy

http://dominiccummings.wordpress.com/
http://www.conservativehome.com/thetorydiary/2014/05/a-profile-of-dominic-cummings-friend-of-gove-and-enemy-of-clegg.html
http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/jun/16/gove-cummings-david-cameron

He was scathing about the prime minister's chief-of-staff, Ed Llewellyn, describing him as a "classic third-rate suck-up-kick-down sycophant presiding over a shambolic court".

Cummings added: "To get anything done you have to have priorities and there are no priorities. Everyone is discouraged from telling the truth to important people. There's no grip. No focus."

A day after tweeting that it was "Good to see some hacks realising we're governed by clowns", he tweeted on Friday: "DC thinks the PM job is babbling like an uber-pundit. No priorities/focus/grip. Shambles = normal not aberration. Nxt week 'values' shambles."

If I had ever got into Dominic Cummings' position, I can easily imagine the same fate befalling me.

Heartening to see someone in mainstream politics still prepared to speak his mind.

Dominic Cummings for Prime Minister!

Selling the one-party state to the current political establishment

The Party exist to build and safeguard a fair, free and open society, in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of liberty, equality and community, and in which no one shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity. We champion the freedom, dignity and well-being of individuals, we acknowledge and respect their right to freedom of conscience and their right to develop their talents to the full. We aim to disperse power, to foster diversity and to nurture creativity. We believe that the role of the state is to enable all citizens to attain these ideals, to contribute fully to their communities and to take part in the decisions which affect their lives.

We look forward to a world in which all people share the same basic rights, in which they live together in peace and in which their different cultures will be able to develop freely. We believe that each generation is responsible for the fate of our planet and, by safeguarding the balance of nature and the environment, for the long term continuity of life in all its forms. Upholding these values of individual and social justice, we reject all prejudice and discrimination based upon race, colour, religion, age, disability, sex or sexual orientation and oppose all forms of entrenched privilege and inequality. Recognising that the quest for freedom and justice can never end, we promote human rights and open government, a sustainable economy which serves genuine need, public services of the highest quality, international action based on a recognition of the interdependence of all the world’s peoples and responsible stewardship of the earth and its resources. We believe that people should be involved in running their communities. We are determined to strengthen the democratic process and ensure that there is a just and representative system of government with effective Parliamentary institutions, freedom of information, decisions taken at the lowest practicable level and a fair voting system for all elections. We will at all times defend the right to speak, write, worship, associate and vote freely, and we will protect the right of citizens to enjoy privacy in their own lives and homes. We believe that sovereignty rests with the people and that authority in a democracy derives from the people. We therefore acknowledge their right to determine the form of government best suited to their needs and commit ourselves to the promotion of a democratic federal framework within which as much power as feasible is exercised by the nations and regions of the United Kingdom. We similarly commit ourselves to the promotion of a flourishing system of democratic local government in which decisions are taken and services delivered at the most local level which is viable.

We will foster a strong and sustainable economy which encourages the necessary wealth creating processes, develops and uses the skills of the people and works to the benefit of all, with a just distribution of the rewards of success. We want to see democracy, participation and the co-operative principle in industry and commerce within a competitive environment in which the state allows the market to operate freely where possible but intervenes where necessary. We will promote scientific research and innovation and will harness technological change to human advantage.

We will work for a sense of partnership and community in all areas of life. We recognise that the independence of individuals is safeguarded by their personal ownership of property, but that the market alone does not distribute wealth or income fairly. We support the widest possible distribution of wealth and promote the rights of all citizens to social provision and cultural activity. We seek to make public services responsive to the people they serve, to encourage variety and innovation within them and to make them available on equal terms to all.

Our responsibility for justice and liberty cannot be confined by national boundaries; we are committed to fight poverty, oppression, hunger, ignorance, disease and aggression wherever they occur and to promote the free movement of ideas, people, goods and services. Setting aside national sovereignty when necessary, we will work with other countries towards an equitable and peaceful international order and a durable system of common security. Within the European Community we affirm the values of federalism and integration and work for unity based on these principles. We will contribute to the process of peace and disarmament, the elimination of world poverty and the collective safeguarding of democracy by playing a full and constructive role in international organisations which share similar aims and objectives. These are the conditions of liberty and social justice which it is the responsibility of each citizen and the duty of the state to protect and enlarge. The Party consists of women and men working together for the achievement of these aims.

1.  The Party is a democratic socialist party. It believes that by the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone,  so as to create for each of us the means to realise  our true potential and for all of us a community in  which power, wealth and opportunity are in the  hands of the many not the few; where the rights we  enjoy reflect the duties we owe and where we live  together freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and  respect.

2. To these ends we work for:
A. A DYNAMIC ECONOMY, serving the public  interest, in which the enterprise of the market and the rigour of competition are joined with the forces of partnership and co-operation to produce the wealth the nation needs and the opportunity for all to work and prosper with a thriving private sector and high-quality public services where those undertakings essential to the common good are either owned by the public  or accountable to them

B. A JUST SOCIETY, which judges its strength by the condition of the weak as much as the strong, provides security against fear, and justice at work; which nurtures families, promotes equality of opportunity, and delivers people from the tyranny of poverty, prejudice and the abuse of power

C. AN OPEN DEMOCRACY, in which government is held to account by the people, decisions are taken as far as practicable by the communities they affect and where fundamental human rights are guaranteed

D. A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT, which we protect, enhance and hold in trust for future generations.
3. The Party is committed to the defence and security of the British people and to co-operating in European institutions, the United Nations, the Commonwealth  and other international bodies to secure peace, freedom, democracy, economic security and environmental protection for all.

4. The Party shall work in pursuit of these aims with trade unions and co-operative societies and also with voluntary organisations, consumer groups and other representative bodies.

5. On the basis of these principles, the Party seeks the trust of the people to govern.

They merge together quite seamlessly, do they not, but they are just an amalgam of the LibDem and Labour Party constitutions.

The Tories are totally out of the game because they have not declared any principles at all in their constitution.  If they have I cannot find them at all at http://www.bracknellconservatives.org.uk/sites/www.bracknellconservatives.org.uk/files/constitution_0.pdf  (Interestingly, this link has now expired when I looked again on 11 October 2014. Clearly, the Party do not want its members to look at the small print of the party constitution. Why? To avoid having to answer questions as to why it as no principles, presumably. It can now be found at http://www.politicalpartydb.org/party-statutes-archive/united-kingdom/conservative-party/)

Since it is all meaningless waffle, the LibLabCon might as well all just agree that their principle is to promote the long term national interest, making it short and sweet.

Political strategist explains how 81 Tory MPs can neutralise UKIP in GE 2015 while shifting Britain sharply to the right

http://s477308942.websitehome.co.uk/parliament/2011/10/the-79-conservative-mps-who-voted-for-a-referendum.html

If these Tory MPs really want an EU referendum, they know which party they should really be in: UKIP.

These Tory MPs who want an EU referendum probably also want to repeal the Equality Act 2010 and abolish gay marriage.

What can they do to punish David Cameron?

Why, threaten to defect to UKIP if he does not agree to propose repealing the Equality Act 2010 in the Conservative Party manifesto for GE 2015, of course.

He would be utterly destroyed if even just half of them did that.

Once the Tories promise to repeal the Equality Act 2010, the legs of UKIP will be completely cut away from under them.  This will be an excellent way to punish Nigel Farage for his cowardice and the way he treated Donna Edmunds.  http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/mar/05/ukip-councillor-donna-edmunds-women-gay-people

What's there not to like about this idea?  We would get a landslide Conservative victory, dispense with the Coalition, and allow UKIP supporters to get what they want without even having to wait for their pathetic little party to win a few miserable seasts.

It can be done, it must be done, it will be done!

Nationalism, Libertarianism and the repeal of the Equality Act 2010 by Prime Minister Dan Hannan after GE 2015

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-26583314

Why is this English Democrat looking like a bus conductor?  Why would the English Democrats think the English would vote for a party with members that look like bus conductors?  Are they retarded or just stupid?
http://englishdemocrats.org.uk/latest-news/item/384-conference/384-conference.html

Is calling their conference "The Revolting English Spring Conference" a good use of the English language to create the right sort of image for English nationalism?

Does holding it in Dartford suggest that those who regard themselves as English Nationalists do not come from the highest strata of English society?

There was a "good chance" that the party would pick up seats at the European Parliament in May's elections, chairman Robin Tilbrook told the BBC.

The party was composed of social democrats, he added.

A good chance that the Englsih Democrats would pick seats in the EU elections?  Really?!?

The English Democrats are a party of Social democrats?  What, like the SDP?  But what about my BNP buddies who joined the English Democrats led by Eddy Butler the ex-BNP National Organiser who was expelled after he failed to trigger a BNP leadership contest?

Surely the last thing these people want is to join a party full of SDP types!

It seems that, having added to his ranks the BNP rejects and finding that they did not add much to his party, he has decided to distance himself from them.

Robin Tillbrook is like someone who is tired of his girlfriend but wants her to break up with him because he is too frightened to tell her it is over. To induce her to break off with him he is doing passive-aggressive things like suggesting and then cancelling dates, turning up late, not doing things he promised to do, and being dull, unkempt, irritating and smelly.

Also, by being self-consciously Centre Left and aping the policies of Alex Salmond and the leftist Sinn Fein, he is clearly showing that that he is on the side of adolescent nationalism rather than grown-up nationalism.

Who best exemplified nationalism?  Why, General Franco, of course.  He at least know that without social conservatism there can be no viable form of nationalism that will survive the corrupting temptations of every age.

The BNP used to see this when it was led by John Tyndall, who wrote THE ELEVENTH HOUR.  Sadly, even these principles have now been salami-sliced into nothingness after Nick Griffin's leadership.  It is almost certain that the BNP manifesto for GE 2015 will say nothing about promoting the institution of marriage.  You can just imagine them all saying "Marriage?  Nah, it ain't for the likes of us. Grammar schools? Wossat ven? Nah, it ain't for the likes of us."

I well remember the BNP website in the 1990s stating that it would repeal the Sex Discrimination Act 1975.

The Sex Discrimination Act has now been consolidated into the Equality Act 2010, which I, as a civic nationalist, believe it is in the national interest to repeal, to  make life easier for small businesses.

Repealing this, as well as abolishing no-fault divorce, would cut the legs off feminism, which I believe is injurious to the long term national interest.

If you call yourself a nationalist and are not prepared to either propose this or discuss this, then you are not what I would call a grown-up nationalist.

On the assumption that all Eurosceptic parties come under the umbrella term of nationalist, I would say that UKIP are certainly not grown-up judging by how Donna Edmunds was forced to apologise by the party for in effect saying she would like the Equality Act repealed.

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/mar/05/ukip-councillor-donna-edmunds-women-gay-people

Ukip chair Steve Crowther said Edmunds' comments went "beyond what is acceptable".

"Whilst we are a libertarian party this kind of ultra-libertarianism really goes beyond what is acceptable," he said. "Society has to have rules and it is certainly not Ukip's policy to allow people to refuse service to each other on the grounds of race, sexuality etc. This debate has been unhelpful. It is a matter that will be discussed by our NEC."

It seems no one in politics has said they would repeal the Equality Act 2010 apart from Dan Hannan MEP. He actually said at the launch of Conservatives for Liberty in October 2013 in a crowded function room at the Barley Mow that he would do so for libertarian reasons.  http://con4lib.com/cfl-launches-with-a-roaring-success/

Too bad he is not even an MP.

I think he could easily be MP or even PM after GE 2015.

First, he should stand as an independent Prospective Parliamentary Candidate in Witney.

Of course, if he does the Conservative Party will have a shit fit and expel him.

But if he wins it would mean David Cameron can no longer remain leader of the Conservative Party, since he will no longer be MP.

http://www.bracknellconservatives.org.uk/sites/www.bracknellconservatives.org.uk/files/constitution_0.pdf  (Interestingly, this link has now expired when I looked again on 11 October 2014. Clearly, the Party do not want its members to look at the small print of the party constitution. Why? To avoid having to answer questions as to why it as no principles, presumably. It can now be found at http://www.politicalpartydb.org/party-statutes-archive/united-kingdom/conservative-party/

PART III
LEADERSHIP
10 There shall be a Leader of the Party (referred to in this Constitution as “the Leader”) drawn from those elected to Parliament ...

However, if Dan Hannan does win, I have no doubt that they will annul his expulsion, welcome him back warmly into the bosom of the Party and declare him to be their leader and therefore the PM of Britain.

Dan Hannan - from MEP to PM if he wins Witney in GE 2015

He has that feline grace and the lean and hungry look ....  Watching him move I sometimes wonder if he did ballet as a boy.

Who will be MP in the marginal constituency of Keighly after GE 2015? Or more to the point, which horse shall I back?

https://twitter.com/SusanTodmorden/status/443467430325911554

Unpleasant things said about Susan Press who may be the Labour PPC for GE 2015:
http://lukeakehurst.blogspot.co.uk/2008/07/susan-press.html
http://www.keighleynews.co.uk/news/4047536.Journalist_is_bidding_to_be_town___s_next_MP/

She has said she "would not be afraid to tackle sensitive issues head on", which sounds promising. I rather liked Lord Glasman's BNP-esque proposals and perhaps she will find herself in a position to revive them.  It is really is the only thing that would work for Labour now.

The Blue Tory Labour peer forced to apologise for saying something genuinely popular.

To win GE 2015, they would actually would have to be more right-wing than the Tories, but that ain't hard to do when our Tory PM will go down in history for legalising gay marriage. http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2011/jul/21/lord-glasman-apologises-immigration-remarks  Perhaps Lord Glasman can be induced to spend the weekend with her in Hebden Bridge before being taken over to Keighley to have a look at the lie of the land.  That would be an excellent way of  getting oneself talked about.

If, for example, the Labour Party proposed repealing the Equality Act 2010 in their GE 2015 manifesto and promised an EU referendum too, then clinched it with the promise of abolishing no-fault divorce, the Tories would be left winded, stunned and writhing on the ground ...

Unpleasant things said about Kris Hopkins MP by Nadine Dorries:
http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2013/oct/08/nadine-dorries-twitter-spat-kris-hopkins#comment-27752954

All the parties are the same anyway, with candidates forced to toe the party line or else, and the LibLabCon are a corrupt cartel who conspire to deprive the "consumer" of choice by fixing the price, rigging the market and keeping out the competition.  We all know that.  However, just for a bit of fun, I will start taking an interest in what they do and say from now on.

At this stage I incline towards Susan because she followed me on Twitter, which I found enormously flattering when I discovered my new follower this morning, but I shall keep an open mind.  I intend to be scrupulously impartial and judge them on the eight following non-policy matters:

  1. character
  2. tactics
  3. communication skills
  4. creative risk-taking
  5. integrity
  6. ruthlessness
  7. the ability to talk oneself out of hole
  8. the ability to be economical with the truth without telling lies

Why I am grateful to Stewart Green for apologising over his anti-feminist diatribe

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2576531/MPs-aide-quits-describing-feminists-whingeing-imbeciles-need-good-slap-face.html

Stewart Green: like most British men, he is an effeminate coward.  It is always a sign of effeminacy to apologise for speaking the truth.

By apologising, Green has only served to make it out of bounds to challenge and criticise feminism - the moral cancer that is affecting the West and shutting down all its major organs - thus making my role in British politics even more indispensable, for no leader of any political party you have heard of  is prepared to propose any measure that would challenge feminism. For this I am immensely grateful to him.  It is even easier for me to stand tall now in a nation of moral pygmies.

So, now, thanks to Green, already cowed British men will have the idea that they are not allowed to say the following:

  1. that they are sick of ‘these wretched women MPs who seem to be constantly going on about there not being enough women in frontline politics’.
  2. that ‘This country has been a gradual decline southwards towards the dogs ever since we started cow-towing [sic] to the cretinous pseudo-equality demand of these whingeing imbeciles.’
  3. that ‘Quite a few of these [feminist] women need a good slap round the face.’

I am happy to go to prison to assert the right to say what he said, and I won't be apologising either, however much you render me.

I am not a scummy effeminate pussywhipped male afraid of offending sluts by criticising feminism because I want to have sex with them.

Whatever I am, I am not a morally-compromised slut-fucker afraid of uncompromisingly supporting marriage.

Whatever I am, I am not afraid to point out what supporting marriage really means in practice to the citizenry of Paedo Bastard Britain Slutland governed by a convictionless cunt of a Prime Minister claiming to support Conservatism and presuming to lead the Conservative Party, who wants to spread the abomination of gay marriage worldwide.

Order of Judge Blackett refusing me permission to seek judicial review received today

THE ARGUMENTS I USED IN COURT

The Conservative Party is far from being a club, since it exercises powers that affect the rights of individuals and society.

Not only that, the Conservative Party has a role in choosing who becomes a member of the Legislature (ie Members of Parliament) and the Executive (ie Prime Minister) and these have the power to start wars as well as change the meaning of marriage.

Saying that a political party is like a club is to totally misunderstand the nature of both.

A club exists solely for the benefit of its members and of course members of a club should be able to remove any of its members if they decide for any reason at all that they don't want him any more.

A political party has the purpose of promoting a political ideology. What then is the political ideology of the Conservative Party?

Nobody knows.

There is actually a shocking Australian case of a sitting Premier of Victoria, who was expelled from his own party.

He sued them in 1934 but received no satisfaction.

http://www.aph.gov.au/About_Parliament/Parliamentary_Departments/Parliamentary_Library/pubs/rp/RP9596/96rp21

The Tory Party does indeed exercise the functions of a public body and Datafin supports this.

http://oxcheps.new.ox.ac.uk/casebook/Resources/RVPANE_1%20DOC.pdf

Donaldson MR:

“No one could have been in the least surprised if the Panel has been instituted and operated under the direct authority of statute law, since it operates in the public domain. Its jurisdiction extends throughout the United Kingdom. Its codes and rulings apply equally to all who wish to make take-over bids or promote mergers, whether they are members of bodies represented on the panel. Its lack of a statutory base is a complete anomaly."

Lloyd LJ:

"It is helpful to look not just to look at the source but the nature of the power. If the body in question is exercising public law functions, or if the exercise of its powers have public consequences, then that may be sufficient to bring the body within the reach of judicial review. The essential distinction is between a domestic or private tribunal on the one hand, and a body of persons who are under some public duty on the other."

Part IV 17.7 of the constitution.

17 The Board shall have power to do anything which in its opinion relates to the management and administration of the Party. It shall oversee all activities within the Party and in particular be
responsible for –
17.7 the cancellation or refusal of membership, in its absolute discretion, of any Party Member or prospective Party Member;

Yet on page 28 of the constitution, it states:

Natural Justice
28 Any removal of rights of membership of, or removal of office or other position from, any Association or other body within the Party will only be made after due consideration of natural justice.

To say that any member can be expelled without warning or explanation can only mean that that provision excludes the exercise of the rules of natural justice.

It is clearly a very confused and capricious piece of drafting. Perhaps it just means that only certain members will get a hearing that adheres to the rules of natural justice, but only if it feels like it, and it is a blue moon.

Below is what they said when they dismissed my appeal:

Decision of the Conservative Party Disciplinary Committee in the matter of the appeal by Ms Claire Khaw against her expulsion from the Conservative Party by the Board

The Committee met at Conservative Campaign Headquarters, 30 Millbank on Wednesday 27th March 2013 to consider an appeal by Ms Claire Khaw against the decision by the Board to expel her from membership of the Conservative Party.

Members of the Disciplinary Committee who heard the Appeal on the papers were:

Simon Mort (Chairman)
John Flack
Pauline Lucas
In attendance: Marcus Booth

The Committee DISMISSED the appeal.

Based on the evidence provided (including by Ms Khaw), the Committee concluded that Ms Khaw's publicly stated views and values, together with her conduct (that the Committee were in a position to appraise) are such that they are not compatible with membership of the Conservative Party, which is not an absolute right.

The aims, objectives and ******policies************* of the Conservative Party are freely available to read and Ms Khaw should have reasonably appraised herself of these before applying to join the Party.

The Defendant is referring to its POLICIES when what is at issue is its PRINCIPLES.

The Defendant is being misleading or is genuinely ignorant of the difference between a policy and a principle.

A policy is what you say to others you do, and your policies should conform to your principles, if you are a political party.

To persistently conflate their principles with policies found in their manifesto, which are but mere promises which they may not even keep, and which would change every 5 years, made for the purpose of inducing voters to vote to them, is evidence of a fundamental philosophical error as to the nature of what a principle is and what principles are for.

Such a party is a fraud its members as well as a fraud on the voting public.

That is bad enough, but there is worse to come. It gives its members NO RIGHTS AT ALL.

In theory, even the Prime Minister himself could be expelled from the Conservative Party!

This was what in fact happened to the Premier of Victoria, Edmond Hogan in 1932.

Who are the members of the Board of the Conservative Party?

It seems they have the power to topple the Prime Minister!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservative_Party_(UK)#Organisation
The Conservative Party Board is the party's ultimate decision making body, responsible for all operational matters (including fundraising, membership and candidates) and is made up of representatives from each (voluntary, political and professional) section of the Party.[91] The Party Board meets about once a month and works closely with CCHQ, elected representatives and the voluntary membership mainly through a number of management sub-committees (such as membership, candidates and conferences).

I did go on about Lord Rennard a bit to the bemusement of the court, saying that how he was being treated is in fact typical of how activists are routinely abused by the leadership.

3 important legal principles were being set aside in the case of Lord Rennard:

1. The retrospective nature of his punishment. Retrospective legislation is against the rules of natural justice because it punishes someone for a crime that was not a crime when it was committed. It has already been admitted by Lord Greaves that half the members of the House of Lords have pinched the bottom of a woman. When they did they had no idea that they would be taken to court and their names dragged through the mud for so doing.

2. The principle of double jeopardy. How many investigations and hearings are they going to have in order to find him guilty of something or other?

3. The principle of being treated as innocent until found guilty, after a fair trial.

The other point I raised was that the legal fiction of a political party not being a public body and therefore subject to judicial review should now be finally done away with.

The Conservative Party constitution allows any member to be expelled without warning or explanation. This means the PM himself could in theory be expelled if the Board of the Conservative Party decide to get rid of him.

This did indeed happen in Cameron v Hogan when a sitting Australian Premier of the State of Victoria - Edmond Hogan - was expelled from his own party in 1934.

I pointed out that if that happened it would provoke a constitutional crisis, and this cannot be denied.

After lunch, all he could come up with was that if the every member of the Conservative Party left the party, it would be no more.

I still have no idea what point he was making.

Of course he went on about the Tory Party being a voluntary association and how precedent has always treated it as such, blah blah.

But nothing substantive.

He said he was refusing it on the ground of legal precedent.  I believe, reading between the lines, he was hinting that he was minded to accept my arguments but felt tied down by about a century or so of precedent.

He asked me if I would appeal if it went against me and I said yes.  Knowing that the Conservative Party certainly would appeal it if it went against them, and their advocate had hardly prepared for the hearing, and would have sought an adjournment if compelled to argue it properly, he thought the best way forward was to refuse my application, leaving it to me to appeal.  I agreed that this would be the best way forward.

I tried to persuade him to grant me my application and leave it to the Tories to appeal, but he was having none of it.

What I would like the political parties of Britain to do for me

FIRST UNDERTAKING

The Conservative Party can go and get itself some principles. If they are having difficulty formulating any, I propose the following:

"The Conservative Party supports, first and foremost, the principle of free speech and of promoting and conserving the long-term national interest. The national interest includes solvency, social stability through the promotion of the institution of marriage between a man and a woman, stable prices through fiscal prudence as well as the maintenance of standards of morality and education that would be considered respectable and enviable by other nations and which are maintained from one generation to the next.  It is the intention of the Conservative Party to use the Koran as its guide."
SECOND UNDERTAKING

The Labour Party should change their constitution and allow Lord Mandelson to become their leader even though he is not an MP.  Or perhaps just get Diane Abbott to do it, if they can't quite manage that.

THIRD UNDERTAKING

The LibDems can expel Nick Clegg for bringing their party into disrepute and replace him with the legally-trained Simon Hughes.

FOURTH UNDERTAKING

UKIP can propose an EU referendum and the repeal of the Equality Act 2010

FIFTH UNDERTAKING

The BNP can propose the reintroduction of fault into divorce to show that they support sensible things such as marriage, which undeniably does have a bearing on the quality of your race. Marriage is eugenic, bastardy dysgenic.

SEVENTH UNDERTAKING

Become a unicameral one-party state and use the Chinese Communist Party constitution mutatis mutandis. Their Article 4 gives party members rights that are to die for. http://www.china.org.cn/english/congress/229722.htm#2

EIGHTH UNDERTAKING

Suggest to the Chinese government that they might like to follow the British model for their one-party state viz allow judicial review of party decisions affecting the rights of party members.

NINTH UNDERTAKING

The Lower House in particular to take an interest in Khaw v Con Party
http://thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/the-conservative-party-has-filed-its.html and cheer me on when it gets to the Court of Appeal.  If I win this one, it will mean that I have negotiated for all MPs of all parties better working conditions, because it means that their leader and their party can no longer abuse them and kick them around any more. They will no longer be abused by their party and their leader if the courts can judicially review any decision made by their leader and his cronies to unfairly and irrationally demote, suspend or expel a member, or in any way unfairly deprive him of his rights.

TENTH UNDERTAKING

Discuss the truth or otherwise of what Schopenhauer said about women after subjecting the women who made the complaints against Lord Rennard to rigorous and vigorous cross examination to establish beyond reasonable doubt that Lord Rennard was indeed guilty of what he was accused of.

"The fundamental defect of the female character is a lack of a sense of justice. This originates first and foremost in their want of rationality and capacity for reflexion but it is strengthened by the fact that, as the weaker sex, they are driven to rely not on force but on cunning: hence their instinctive subtlety and their ineradicable tendency to tell lies: for, as nature has equipped the lion with claws and teeth, the elephant with tusks, the wild boar with fangs, the bull with horns and the cuttlefish with ink, so it has equipped woman with the power of dissimulation as her means of attack and defence, and has transformed into this gift all the strength it has bestowed on man in the form of physical strength and the power of reasoning. Dissimulation is thus inborn in her and consequently to be found in the stupid woman almost as often as in the clever one. To make use of it at every opportunity is as natural to her as it is for an animal to employ its means of defence whenever it is attacked, and when she does so she feels that to some extent she is only exercising her rights. A completely truthful woman who does not practice dissimulation is perhaps an impossibility, which is why women see through the dissimulation of others so easily it is inadvisable to attempt it with them. – But this fundamental defect which I have said they possess, together with all that is associated with it, gives rise to falsity, unfaithfulness, treachery, ingratitude, etc. Women are guilty of perjury far more often than men. It is questionable whether they ought to be allowed to take an oath at all."
-Arthur Schopenhauer, On Women

If MPs want to think of me as their Shop Steward, I will certainly not stop them from doing so.  My dear mother was a union representative in her time, so it could be said that a family tradition of speaking up for people too stupid and scared to speak up for themselves runs in my veins.

Parcere subjectis et debellare superbos shall be my motto.

"Roman! let this be your care, this your art;
to rule over the nations and impose the ways
of peace, to spare the underdog, and pull down
the proud."
— Aneid VI. 851

Who are the proud that shall not be spared?  The ones who have no principles, and who say:

"The strong do what they will, and the weak suffer what they must."

Who are the strong?  The party leader and his cronies including his nagging wife.

Who are the weak?  The individual party member.

http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus:text:1999.01.0200:book=5:chapter=89:section=1

I dedicate my legal action to Lord Rennard - the worst-treated party activist in British history - who has been in his party for 40 years and joined as an adolescent.  It is now being proposed that he be expelled to satisfy the implacable demands of a bunch of malicious women if he does not apologise and leave himself open to legal action.  It would probably be kinder to assassinate him with an ice pick, methinks.

Free legal advice for Lord Rennard

http://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/this-is-becoming-a-disastrous-mess-lord-rennard-hires-top-lawyer-as-sexual-harassment-affair-escalates-9075757.html

Do not seek an injunction to restrain the LibDems from behaving illegally, Lord Rennard.

What you should do is allow the LibDems to get as much rope they need to hang themselves.

What they have done is behave with manifest unfairness and trample over long-established legal principles of

  1. the right to be treated as innocent till proven guilty
  2. retrospective legislation being vindictive and arbitrary as well as going against the Rule of Law
  3. double jeopardy

Just let them do it and even expel you, which they will.  Can there be any doubt about what the LibDems will decide when they "investigate" whether you have brought the party into disrepute?

I shall certainly be appealing against the refusal to grant me permission to seek judicial review at the Court of Appeal,  paving the way for you and others like you, who will - should this application succeed - give politicians a legal remedy when their rights are routinely abused by their leader and their party.

Once I receive the judgment it will be straight to the Court of Appeal with this on whether a political party is amenable to judicial review.

Do not compromise, because yours is the worst case of member abuse I have ever heard, ever, if you don't count actually physically assaulting and murdering party members.

If you compromise, you will have given back party leaders carte blanche to piss and shit all over members and activists.

Your career with the LibDems is now over, but you can still make a political point by refusing to back down.

  • Anthony Hubert Codjoe It makes no sense for any sane person to want Claire put performance for tomorrow's court hearing here for what ? Somebody to evaluate or what ? Her blog has indicated enough of her case and what she deems senseless about her removal from the Conservative Party. In the blog a lot of so called violations against the party by her are shown. And Claire refutes them. She asked questions about what constitutes violations , free speech and when the violations were committed.
  • Claire Khaw The Conservative Party constitution does indeed give them the right to remove any member without warning or explanation at its absolute discretion.
  • Andy Kimber i cant get there til about 12.30 and i think that will be too late
  • Claire Khaw This would exclude the right to being heard by an unbiased tribunal according to the rules of natural justice.

They will no doubt argue that the Tory Party is not a public body and therefore not subject to judicial review. It is only a private club and the courts must not interfere, they will say.
  • Claire Khaw You can always meet us for drinks later!
  • Leon Actually, Anthony, I wholeheartedly support Claire's actions here. The Conservative Party does not seem to know what a principle is. If I were around, I would be in the court early in excitement!
  • Andy Kimber the court bit is the bit i wouldnt want to miss!
  • Claire Khaw I will say it is far from being a club, since it exercises powers that affect the rights of individuals and society.

Not only that, the Conservative Party has a role in choosing who becomes a member of the Legislature (ie Members of Parliament) and
the Executive (ie Prime Minister) and these have the power to start wars as well as change the meaning of marriage.

  • Claire Khaw Because I want the Conservative Party to be subject to judicial review.
  • Claire Khaw So that when the party activists are routinely abused by their leader and party there is a legal remedy.

If I had sued them in contract they would just have given me back my £25, which is not what I seek.

  • Claire Khaw What I should have done was dispute the costs.
