Why I am supporting the Bill Etheridge and not Simon Darby in the Police & Crime Commissioner Elections by David Jones

By David Jones, Independent Pennine Nationalist
Todmorden, East Lancashire.

Whilst I am sympathetic in general to UK Independence Party, I have always rooted for the British National Party in elections but the decline of the BNP and their failure to capitalise on the law and order issues and field a list of candidates anywhere bar the West Midlands was indeed a great let down. Had I lived in the West Midlands Simon Darby would have probably got my vote but they have a better candidate—the UKIP Candidate Mr Etheridge.

You heard me right, the UKIP candidate is better than the BNP Candidate.

Both candidates are “civic nationalists” but Bill is a man after my own heart, and while I’m sure he wouldn’t endorse everything I believe in, he is a hard working, skilled political operator who genuinely cares about his community and is, generally, a nice guy. The BNP Campaign, however, seems to be a shameless promotion of the BNP by a typical Nick Griffin attack-dog.

The difference between UKIP and the BNP is as follows.

UKIP: - Civic Nationalists, neo-conservatives & Whigs.
BNP: - Civic Nationalists, Socialists & Ethno-Nationalists.

The voting public is not interested in the ideological differences between these two parties in the slightest, only in who will fight for:

A referendum over Britain’s EU membership.
Lower Taxes & Fewer Laws
An end to Party Whips.
An end to mass Immigration.
The abolition of equality, human rights & race laws.
The return of Capital Punishment.
An end to Gay Privilege and the undermining of marriage.

It has come to something when a nationalist like me can no longer support the BNP, but voters want candidates who will represent them competently, not slick, self-promoting party bosses followed by deluded, stubborn buffoons who believe their party is always right.

TV’s Apprentice contestant Katie Hopkins who proposes to fight all 73 EU seats UK “We Demand A Referendum Party” is on the right track, but single-issue doesn’t go far enough. We need an all-nationalist manifesto, not a single issue party.

I myself am running for a Town Council by-election on an independent ticket on pretty much all of these issues, and I think the results will be an education if I win, it will make it much harder for anybody, whether they are in UKIP, the BNP, Ms. Hopkins Campaign to ignore the power of such a message.

First, David Jones (Independent) to Todmorden Town Council.
Secondly Bill Etheridge (UKIP) for West Midlands Police Commissioner.

And Then Ms Hopkins, let's see where we can go from there.

An offer the BNP should not refuse, if it knows what's good for it, which it probably doesn't

An exchange between an anonymous nationalist well-wisher and me

He:
Did you ever think about contacting Brons about getting back in the BNP? Griffin's finished and it's only a matter of time before Brons makes his move. And, being a total political realist, he'll accentuate the civic Nationalism angle.

Me:
Brons has never responded directly to any of my communications.  I have been told he is a hard-line racialist, so no surprises there.

I do not think however badly Griffin does that Brons will take over.  He is pretty much discredited anyway in London for being so slow to act and so ineffective in action.

He:
Brons is the epitome of caution gone mad. And he is known for not answering anything inconvenient sent to him. The only other possible approach would perhaps be to Simon Darby. In the BNP London Mayoral campaign post-mortem, it must have occurred to him - and others - that they should have stuck with you rather than standing Carlos the Jackal. Maybe, couch a first enquiry in terms of asking his advice.

Me:
Perhaps it would be better if you put it to Simon Darby?  Otherwise it is just me ceaselessly blowing my own trumpet!

He:
Darby is a pragmatist - and if rumour is ever true - he's MI5 as well. But only the first point matters.

Say you've been thinking over the BNP London Mayoral campaign and the part you could have played in making it more successful - getting a Richard Barnbrook 5.3% or more, rather than a Carlos level of 2.1%. The London result shows that people don't vote for policies, they vote for personalities, and Carlos had no personal impact, did he? You would have had everyone in the capital aware of the BNP.

Add that the Mumsnet thing was largely - or entirely, if you wish - due to your a clash of cultural perceptions rather than malice, and say that you undertake to keep clear of any such controversy ever again. Lesson learnt, OK? Then ask his advice as to how to rejoin the party. I've seen on your blog the letter from Walker - it makes no mention of permanent expulsion, and there's no reason why this should be implied.

You are an impetuous and headstrong person, and passion is always admirable. But here, go for contrite - not humble pie - and convey the impression to Darby that you're seeking the advice of a reasonable man. I'm sure he's read your blog and knows you're an outstanding activist and he will see a real advantage in having you back - so long as if you get back in, you line up with him - he maybe gets the credit for some of the things you do - and you don't rock his boat. My sources tell me that Darby has always felt inferior to Griffin and was always looking for allies.

A woman of your talent is wasted on the political fringes so, go for it via Facebook and see what happens. You are an enormous loss to the BNP and all you have to do is get Darby to see it.

Me:
I really don't think that even if Simon wanted me in the party he would get it past Nick Griffin.

He:
Just ask Simon for his advice. Or, maybe go for broke and write to Griffin direct, asking him to rescind your expulsion and state that you would accept a period - possibly a prolonged period - of restricted membership if he deemed it appropriate. It could work. The trick is - getting your foot in the door.

I think the best thing for me to do is simply to let everyone know what ideas are afoot as regards my political future.  All suggestions gratefully received.

My goals are:

  1. redefining nationalism and transforming it into something more than knee-jerk xenophobia and racism that is really about socialism and welfare for whites only
  2. to challenge and defeat feminism as a respectable ideology
  3. to make a point about promoting nationalist unity (by this I mean the co-operation and collaboration of civic and ethno-nationalists and that David Jones of Todmorden and I together are exemplars of this practice)

I therefore propose that

  1. David Jones and I be admitted into the BNP jointly.
  2. the requirement for a two-year probationary period to be waived.  (This is to protect us from being summarily expelled without being able to defend ourselves before a disciplinary tribunal, which has happened to many nationalists.  I have in any case been involving myself in nationalist politics for well over five years.)
  3. the requirement that we have to be members for five years before we are eligible to take part in a leadership contest be waived.  (This is to give an opportunity for a display of good faith on the part of Nick Griffin who has previously shown such bad faith towards other nationalists, and leaving them in a worse position financially and in career terms than if they had never involved themselves in nationalism.  Now is the time to reverse the image of nationalism as being only for losers, CHAVs and social retards.)

While I am aware that Nick Griffin and those who take his orders are unlikely to accede to our requirements because it is not in the advantage of Nick Griffin to do so, it should be pointed out that those who care for the future of nationalism and the condition of the white working classes that this is a very good bargain indeed.

(Yes, I a foreigner and a female with to be be identified as a representative of the white working classes because their liberal political establishment has utterly abandoned them and those who claim to represent their interests only grow fat on their grievances while doing nothing to ameliorate their condition.)

Were David and I to be welcomed into the party - we would instantly transform the PERCEPTION of nationalism as an ideology merely for the lower classes who cannot compete against foreigners who are ignorant, xenophobic and racist into something pragmatic, morally and intellectual grounded and attractive to right-thinking British citizens of ALL races.

I shall certainly not dissociate myself from my family values message and my campaign against Never- Married Mothers and Feminism.  Taking on this fight against widespread illegitimacy and female promiscuity is the first step towards the British nation's moral and social regeneration.  A morally and socially regenerated Britain will have  fewer laws after the restoration of male and parental authority in a much much smaller state.  The kind of British Nationalism that David and I intend to promote would be business-friendly too, for we are both libertarians, believing that prosperity can be achieved only through industry.  In this dog eat dog world, only the fittest will survive and feminism and liberalism is the opposite of eugenic.  Western civilisation has been alarmingly weakened by decades of degeneracy and decline wrought by the pernicious ideology of feminism that encourages women to be promiscuous, irresponsible and parasitical.  It can only achieve a renaissance through its formal and ceremonial defenestration.

The stress which killed former BNP Treasurer David Hannam

Hello everybody:

I have just been sent a link to a posting on Simon Darby’s blog http://simondarby.blogspot.com/2011/10/bbc-update.html. Darby is in fact, if not in name, deputy to Nick Griffin, Chairman of the British National Party. I run out the item below.

Darby effectively accuses the BBC’s Panorama of being responsible for the death a couple of days ago of David Hannam, a former Treasurer of the BNP, as a result of the rigour of its investigation into the party’s financial affairs and the activities of Griffin and his wife Jackie in connection with those matters.

Darby’s effusion is a last desperate effort to distract attention from the evidence of the criminal misappropriation of BNP funds which will emerge in an edition of BBC1 TV’s Panorama programme scheduled for transmission next Monday evening, 10th October.

Griffin, Darby & Co are aware that BNP financial documents, such as bank statements, have fallen into Panorama’s possession. Panorama says it will hand the documents over to the Police after the programme has been shown.

These documents were supplied by a former leading official of the BNP who at one point assisted the kleptocratic Griffin regime, who was sacked by Griffin in one of his regular purges, but who kept copies of key incriminating documents as insurance, and has used them to inflict revenge on Griffin.

Hannam was appointed by Griffin to be party Treasurer despite — no, because — he was an ill-educated ignoramus in his twenties whose previous job was as a supermarket shelf-filler. If ever there was an obvious and cynical appointment of a ‘patsy’ by financial spivs, that was it.

COLLETT’S ‘DEATH-THREAT’ PHONE CALL

Early in April 2010, in the run-up to the general election, Hannam received a phone call from the party’s graphic designer and printing supplies manager, Mark Collett. Collett raged about Griffin terminating the “nice little earner” they had been operating for a few years. Griffin had decided to obtain all the party’s future printing supplies — including the huge general election requirement — from the Belfast-based businessman Jim Dowson.

Prior to this switch, Collett operated an ‘independent’ company which ordered the BNP’s printing needs from authentic printing firms. Those firms submitted their invoices to Collett who in turn invoiced the BNP, adding a hefty mark-up. Griffin ensured the party paid Collett’s bills promptly because the mark-up was shared between them. Such parasitic operations are known in the print trade as “print farming”.

Collett was unaware that Hannam was taping their conversation. Hannam gave the tape to Griffin. A copy was made to edit-out references by either Collett or Hannam to financial shenanigans. The ‘edited’ version was then presented to the Humberside Police by Hannam in support of an allegation that Collett had threatened to murder Griffin and Dowson.

Collett was arrested and, on the back of the uproar this generated, Griffin was able to purge a variety of other senior ‘colleagues’ who he felt were a current or potential threat to his position.

In due course the Police subjected the tape to forensic examination determined it to be an edited copy. They requested Hannam to provide the original. For obvious reasons he was unable to oblige, so Collett was released from custody without charge. Soon after, Griffin and Collett had a private meeting at which they came to a financial settlement and agreed, for mutual protection, never to discuss their previous business (and other) relationships.

“CONSPIRACY TO PERVERT THE COURSE OF JUSTICE”?

In these circumstances it seems likely that at some point after Collett’s discharge the Police will have suggested to Hannam that he was now in the frame for a charge of, at the least, “wasting Police time” and perhaps also of “conspiracy to pervert the course of justice”. That kind of issue hanging over someone’s head can impose considerable stress.

The stress was compounded even after the post of party Treasurer had been taken from him and awarded to Clive Jefferson, (a man “known to the Police”, though not in connection with politics). Hannam became aware that financial transactions engaged in whilst he had been Treasurer, and signed-off by him, and statutory duties required of a party treasurer whilst he held that office, continued to be his legal responsibility.

For example, he was liable for at least two sets of party accounts which the law requires be presented annually to the Electoral Commission. A long series of un-presented and/or inadequate accounts are now backing up. The BNP is the only nationwide party to be in this position. It is a situation which brings disgrace on the nationalist cause. If the BNP cannot produce in due time its own properly-audited accounts, how can it be expected to run a parish council, let alone the country?

The fact that Collett should telephone Hannam about the ‘skimming’ operation on BNP printing bills indicates that Hannam was fully aware of that and many another scam. He was doubtless made a beneficiary of some of them to ensure he would keep his mouth shut. Eventually he would have become aware that various kinds of investigators — and not just the Panorama crew — were closing in and that he was a prime focus of their interest.

THE STRESSES EXPERIENCED BY A MAN PLACED OUT OF HIS DEPTH

Would YOU wish to live with that kind of accumulating stress? It’s the kind of situation which prompts suicide or heart-attacks, especially among naïve people who find themselves completely out of their depth; when those they looked to for a helping hand turn their backs; and when it dawns on them that they are mugs of who been used by crooks.

If Darby is right that it was stress that killed the former BNP Treasurer and former supermarket shelf-filler David Hannam, then it was not mainly the stress imposed by the Panorama investigation, but the stress imposed by Griffin, Darby and numerous other senior BNP officials when they lured him into taking a job which he did not know how to perform and had no idea of the legal liabilities attached to it.

Some of the blame also attaches to members of the ludicrous Leadership Advisory Council and local and regional officials of the BNP who realised than Hannam was not up to the job; who were made aware for many years past that the most squalid predations on BNP members’ funds were being perpetrated by the Griffin clique, but who tried to close their ears and their eyes and who, if any of the warnings did penetrate their defences, reacted with anger, not against Griffin but against those who issued the warnings, disturbing their comfort zone.

It is because of those kind of people that Griffin has been able to get away with it for so long. They must be made to confront the consequences of their moral cowardice.

If a nationalist party is to be created with a hope of stability and success, it must be provided with a constitution which takes account of human nature and is not an Enabling Act for a shoddy dictatorship of embezzlers.

It is in this respect that the late John Tyndall can be held to have been the ultimate author of the current BNP catastrophe for it was he who, having failed to impose a Führerprinzip constitution on the membership of the National Front in 1979, broke away from that party in 1980, eventually to form the BNP 1982 which he saddled with the ‘constitution’ of his — and Nick Griffin’s — dreams.

I make no apologies for ending this item with a theme I have rehearsed in previous bulletins:

QUESTION: If Members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords could have been scooped up by career-destroying media publicity — and in some cases court appearances and imprisonment — with a few months of the Parliamentary Expenses scandal breaking, how is it that the Establishment’s law enforcement agencies and mass media allowed Nick Griffin and his gang to swindle the BNP and its individual members of very much greater sums of money over a period of more than a decade?

ANSWER: Because the Establishment is only too happy to see the damage to the nationalist movement Griffin was doing. The longer the Establishment could turn a ‘blind eye’ to Griffin’s criminality, the more of a wrecking job he could do. He has a long history of involvement in wrecking jobs in a variety of movement and parties — always in pursuit of money — from his early twenties. His lust for cash and his amoral sociopathic disposition were soon spotted and a policy of malign neglect was established so that he was free to do his thing.

Martin Webster.

BNP Leadership Election News

From:  Eddy Butler

Date:   02 July 2010 00:48

Important Campaign information
See the exciting new Leadership Challenge website: http://bnpleadershipchallenge.co.uk/
Also see new articles on the Eddy Butler blog: http://eddybutler.blogspot.com/

A strange message has been issued by the Party’s ‘elections Department’ relating to this year’s Party Leadership election as follows:

http://www.bnp.org.uk/news/bnp-leadership-election-%E2%80%94-official-statement

This statement makes a number of unconstitutional claims that will be accordingly be ignored. The most significant relates to nomination forms.

The constitution does not state that the Party centre or the ‘elections Department’ will issue nomination papers or the exact form they are to take. It merely states that a candidate for the post of Chairman must obtain the signatures of 20% of the members with over 24 calendar months continuous membership.

We have issued a suitable nomination form below.

I agree to nominate Eddy Butler as a candidate for the British National Party leadership election for 2010

Please return completed sheets as soon as possible (but by 20th July) to:

Leadership Contest, P.O. Box 287, Waltham Cross EN8 8ZU.

It does not matter if the sheet isn’t full. Only fully paid up members with two years continuous membership as of 1st July 2010 may sign the form.

Print name

Signature

Membership No

Region

The ‘elections Department‘ has presumed to issue this unconstitutional statement:

“Official nomination forms will be sent to each Member and Voting Member eligible to nominate/vote in such an election, and will have to be returned by post to be received between 20 July and noon of 10 August. It is recommended that such forms are sent by registered or recorded delivery mail.”

They are trying to get members to send their nomination papers directly to them. This is a disgusting abuse of process, similar to the sort of thing one would expect in Soviet occupied Eastern Europe. I am afraid to say that the Party centre has so far acted in an appalling manner so far with regard to this year’s leadership election. They are bugging gatherings, closing down branch meetings, sacking officials and even suspending the membership of people who support a leadership challenge. The idea that people should send their nomination papers to Clive Jefferson’s Elections Department is nothing short of outrageous and can only be viewed as an attempt to derail the Party’s internal democratic process.

DO NOT SEND YOUR FORMS TO THEM. IF YOU WISH TO NOMINATED EDDY BUTLER AS A CANDIDATE IN THIS YEAR’S ELECTION FOR THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY THEN PLEASE USE THE NOMINATION FORM ATTACHED AND SEND IT WITH AS MANY SIGNATURES OF MEMBERS WITH TWENTY FOUR MONTHS CONTINUOUS MEMBERSHIP TO P.O. BOX 287, WALTHAM CROSS EN8 8ZU.

WE WILL HAND ALL THE SIGNATURES IN TOGETHER ONCE WE HAVE OBTAINED THE REQUIRED NUMBER. WE ALSO RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT USE THEIR FORM.

Number of signatures

The Party has announced that we need to obtain the signatures of 840 members who have twenty four months continuous membership. This is quite a few less than expected.

They have also stated that there are only 278 voting members and so the signatures of only 56 voting members are also required. A voting member can also sign as a twenty four months member. How they have calculated the figure of 278 is any bodies guess as no register of voting members has ever been kept.

Nick Cass for Deputy Chairman

Former Yorkshire Regional Organiser and Party Manager Nick Cass has been announced as Eddy Butler’s running mate as Deputy Chairman. Nick is a tremendously popular activist and is a welcome addition to our team.

Coincidentally Simon Darby has just resigned as Party Deputy Chairman and we wish him well.
