Sima Kotecha bullies a pleb and condemns the poor man for being racist

From 2:45

At 2:47 listen to how Sima Kotecha bullies a pleb snatching offence out of his reluctant hands.

Pleb whom SK described as "uttering racial slurs towards" her:

I think all the immigrants they should leave the country, you know what I mean?

SK:

So you're talking about Eastern Europeans?

Pleb:

Yeah, not saying like Pakis. I'm saying all of them, you know what I mean?

SK [menacingly];

Did you say Paki?

Pleb:

No, I don't mean ... Sorry, love, I don't mean ...

SK [primly]:

That's offensive.

Pleb:

I didn't mean to call [inaudible because he was mumbling in terror after it dawned on him that the BBC journalist menacing him was about to condemn him on the airwaves as a racist]. They're not foreigners. We all bleed with the same heart, it's a different colour of skin, know what I mean?

SK:

So, do you not like Asians either?

Pleb:

No, I do like Asians, I'm not racist, I love Asians. I called you Paki, but I could come up with more offensive words, you know what I mean? But I'm not like that, am I? I'm not racist at all in any shape or way ....

You can imagine Sima Kotecha haughtily turning on her heel and leaving the nonplussed pleb stammering into his lager, shaken by this encounter knowing that his voice will be played endlessly on the airwaves as an example of the evil, violence and horrors of racism.

Do you think Sima Kotecha's bullying of this pleb has improved race relations in Britain?

No, really, do listen to the interview and listen to the tone. Who was the one with the higher status? The pleb or the female Asian journalist who was bullying him?

Does making a pun mean you are racist? Patrick Moore once made a racist joke about me.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2582833/Jeremy-Clarkson-accused-racism-Top-Gear-series-finale-Thailand.html

I would suggest not.

May I also point out that racism has not in fact been defined.

http://thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/supreme-court-should-give-us-definition.html

It would please me if Clarkson would retract his apology about shooting trade unionists in front of their family.  Or perhaps he would retract that apology in relation to all trade unionists except for Christine Blower of the NUT who has ruined the education of so many generations of British children.

Just as I am sure we have all said something that would offend our friends, colleagues and family if they had heard every thing we had ever said about them, we will also have said something that would offend another race if they had heard everything we ever had said about that race.

If racism does mean "anything said by a member of one race that might offend a member of another race" then the question arises as to why we may offend people on other grounds but not on grounds of race.

It is of course a philosophical question, and politicians are infamously inept at answering philosophical questions.

I remember the late Patrick Moore making a silly joke about a chink in the curtain when he was giving a talk in Oslo about the Northern Lights.  He was on stage and I was merely a member of the audience, but remember having the feeling that he must have meant me.  This was over 15 years ago I am sure and I remember feeling a little taken aback at the time, but am glad I have survived the experience and lived to tell the tale.

People who think that their race is better than yours are no more and no less irritating than people of your own race making it clear that they think they are better than you.  People like that eventually get their comeuppance anyway.

http://www.theweek.co.uk/people-news/46588/sir-patrick-moore-only-good-kraut-dead-kraut shows that he had form for this sort of thing.  I do take exception to the unkind things he has said about Germans because I have German relations myself and hand on my heart I can say all the Germans I have ever met have been utterly charming and kind.

How UKIP can admit ex-members of parties and organisations on their prohibited list without being accused of harbouring racists

I am perfectly happy to sign a declaration that I have never nor will I ever

1.  promote a policy of the forcible repatriation of non-white British citizens

2.  promote apartheid

3.  promote any policy that discriminates either for or against any British citizen on racial grounds

on pain of expulsion.

Do you consider yourself a racist?

What does it mean, to be a racist?

Does it mean being irrational, unkind and unfair about someone on grounds of race? Well, I try not to be.

Or, it could mean "saying anything found to be offensive for any reason whatsoever by a member of another race". If that is the meaning then we are all guilty.

If you are a white landlord in London and you prefer to let your property to overseas students from Asia because you know they take off their shoes indoors rather than a member of your own race, are you being racist?

As long as we are all equal before the law, I would defend the right of everyone to be racist. It is a tremendous act of discipline to stop oneself from being unfair, irrational and unkind even with the best will in the world, and the existence of thoughtcrime legislation is simply abhorrent to any good libertarian, as well as being counter-productive since it creates deep ill-feeling against the protected foreigner.

‎A Facebook friend helpfully suggested, ' "Racism" means automatically disliking someone, and treating them as an inferior, because of the colour of their skin.'

If you treat a member of another race as automatically SUPERIOR, are you being racist?  If you treat another race as inferior then it logically follows that you must treat another race as superior, does it not?

Did you know racists can even marry each other?  Western man thinks butter wouldn't melt in the mouth of Eastern woman, and Eastern woman thinks Western man has money.   If they do not make further enquiries about the character and income of each other they will find themselves horribly horribly mistaken and disappointed.

That is why we must not be racist.

What you may not be say in Britain without losing your job

Martin Sewell at his former place of employment after his contract was not renewed, most probably as a result of what was said about him by the CUSU, which is defamatory and actionable.

http://www.tcs.cam.ac.uk/issue/news/cambridge-economics-supervisor-criticised-for-racist-and-sexist-views/ The Cambridge University Students' Union have called him "sexist" and "racist".

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/06/25/martin-sewell-racist-cambridge-university-academic_n_1623370.html?view=print

What is sexism?  Something found to be offensive by women.

What is racism? Something found to be offensive by another race.

What is free speech?  Does anyone even know any more?

In a piece published in 2010, Sewell states:

"So-called racism [sic] is a perfectly natural in-group bias which has been stigmatized by the politically correct West. The most likely reason for the high incidence of black crime is blacks’ lower intelligence and greater impulsivity, which themselves are probably biological in origin."

Or it could be that poor people are bad because they are poor, or that they are poor because they are bad.   The Nature v Nurture debate remains one of the eternal questions.  Surely in academia these things may be discussed without losing one's employment if we are indeed living in a liberal democracy that we claim to be  so proud of?

Sewell also turns his attention to gender equality:

"Feminism not only harms men, but harms women. Indeed, women are less happy today than they were in the 1970s.

"To assume equality is false, whilst attempting to enforce it is totalitarian.

"Men must work hard, compete and take risks throughout their lives if they want any life at all, whilst women need only to look youthful and behave selfishly."

If feminism does indeed harm women, then surely something must be done about it as soon as possible?  What harms women harms children.  What harms children harms the next generation.  What harms the next generation harms the future of this nation.

In another section, titled "Eugenics", Sewell states:

"Hitler gave eugenics a bad name. The modern objectives are actually highly desirable: eugenics can help eliminate genetic diseases, reduce personality disorders and increase intelligence via human biotechnology. Time to reconsider."

"I am neither sexist nor racist, nor am I pro-Hitler.

"The real fascism lies with attempting to compromise an academic's career on the basis of his synthesis of peer-reviewed scientific research. The university has a long tradition of ground-breaking science and freedom of speech, which Cambridge University Students' Union (CUSU) would do well to respect."

Apparently, in China, you are allowed to say such things and still keep your job.

Does China have more academic freedom than Britain?

This is an Asian woman being rude about Asian men. Can you be racist about your own race? Can you be arrested for inciting racial hatred AGAINST YOUR OWN RACE??

A male Asian Muslim Facebook friend said:

Eek!  He used the P-word too.  Are the police going to be knocking on his door?  And hers too?

Diane Abbot to explain her views on race to Andrew Neill in a one-hour special?

Andrew Neill should really invite Diane Abbott on his show to explain to the nation in detail her views on race in a one-hour special.

During this time the British public will have a chance to vote by SMS on the question of whether she should be demoted from her post as Shadow Public Health Minister, and give her the thumbs up, or thumbs down.

This unexpectedly delicious entertainment would redound to the credit of Ed Miliband if he were the one tweeting about this proposal and inviting the views of his comrades.

I think it would be enormously entertaining and educational.  In fact, the nation would be AGOG.

This is another fun and free Claire Khaw Idea to add colour and gaiety to British politics.

Supreme Court should give us a definition of racism NOW

http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011/oct/26/morrissey-libel-battle-nme-jury

As I was a member of the BNP, the more inaccurate and incompetent PC Left Liberal journalist would find himself or herself slipping into a kind of lazy shorthand and describe me as "racist".

Since I was told that I was a racist just for being a member of that party, does it mean that I am now officially an "ex-racist"?

But what if I continue to hold racist views?

And what if I never held racist views but just joined the BNP to make a point about immigration and the way the Liberal Fascists have suppressed debate as well as vilified and intimidated their opponents by spurious accusations of racism?

Perhaps, knowing of this temptation to call me racist and thus lay themselves open to legal action, they make a point of never referring to me or my genius or my wit, wisdom and winning ways or saying anything at all about me, in order, presumably, to avoid any danger at all of being sued in defamation, aware as they are that the New Musical Express is being sued by Morrissey.

If they are now wondering how to refer to me, may I suggest that

"Radical Libertarian Civic Nationalist Anti-Feminist Koranist ULTRA RATIONALIST who is commending a one-party state to the British government"

would be about right.

If I am described as racist in any report, the person describing me as such would have to substantiate this statement by citing anything I have said that is allegedly "racist" because they would have to justify the truth of such a statement or be liable to pay me damages.

Also, the High Court would have to decide whether or not I am indeed racist (and also Morrissey and Emma West).

In summary, the questions that need to be answered are:

  1. What is the legal definition of "racist" and "racism"?
  2. Does it mean "causing offence to a member of another race by referring to his or her race"?
  3. Can someone of the same race racially abuse another person of the same race?
  4. Is "black" really ruder than "cunt"?
  5. If you say someone is good at something because of their race, are you being racist?
  6. If you say you are no good at something because of your race, are you being racist?
  7. If you dislike someone on grounds of race, does that make you racist?
  8. If that is the case, are we to take it that the government now tells us whom we may like and dislike and whom we may or may not insult and abuse?
  9. Does this not mean that certain races are now privileged from being offended?
  10. If certain races are now legally protected from being offended on grounds of race, does that not mean that the remainder are being racially discriminated against?
  11. Is there a legal difference between insulting someone on grounds of race and insulting someone on grounds of nationality?
  12. If so, why?
  13. Does being a member of the BNP by itself mean you are racist?
  14. If you are no longer a member of the BNP does that mean you are no longer racist, even if you continue to think racist thoughts?
  15. If one black man calls another "nigger" is he being racist?
  16. Was Diane Abbott racially abusing white people and their ancestors when she said "white people divide and rule"?
  17. Was Diane Abbott racially abusing black people when she told a black woman with conservative views who supported family values that she should work for a White Conservative rather than ask a black Labour-supporting woman like her for a job in the Labour Party?  http://thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.com/2012/01/was-diane-abbott-racially-abusing-black.html
  18. If a white woman reports two black men to the police for calling each other "nigger", is she being racist?
  19. If you mistake someone for a Pole when he is in fact Italian, and say rude things about Poles, is that racist?  http://www.thisisbath.co.uk/Policeman-denies-racist-abuse-Bath-pub/story-14412324-detail/story.html
  20. Is calling someone a "useless jock" racist if you are English?  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8678475/Postman-who-called-Andy-Murray-useless-jock-is-convicted-of-racism.html
  21. Is calling someone a "useless jock" racist if you are Jamaican?
  22. Does "institutionalised racism" mean "anything you get wrong when dealing with a non-white complainant"?
  23. Does "institutionalised racism" not logically mean that anything you get wrong when dealing with a white complainant is automatically downgraded as less serious than if the complainant were non-white?
  24. If that is the case, does that not mean that white people are being discriminated against?
  25. If it is acknowledged that a white person would be discriminated against and thereby disadvantaged,  is this not racially discriminatory and therefore racist?
  26. Is racism and xenophobia the same thing?
  27. Is it treated as the same thing?
  28. Is complaining about immigration racist, or does it depend on how you do it and whether you belong to UKIP or BNP?
  29. Are "anti-racists" racist against white people?
  30. Is anti-racism hopelessly confused, like moral relativism which the liberals love so much?
  31. A new concept of "political racism" has been created.    http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/culture/jmacmillan/100059628/alex-salmond-is-exploiting-scotlands-reservoir-of-anti-englishness-dont-be-surprised-if-it-overflows/  What is this fucking shit?
  32. Was Lord MacPherson taking the fucking piss when he conceived of "institutionalised racism"?
  33. Did Lord MacPherson take the fucking piss because he is a Scots and hates the English and wants them to suffer great inconvenience, expense and distress?  http://thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.com/2012/01/proposed-questions-for-scottish.html
  34. Are the English stupid slut and bastard wankers for being taken in by all this confused liberal demented matriarchal self-abnegating maschochistic feminised shit?
  35. Is the Truth racist?

When the word "black" is considered by white people to be more offensive than the word "cunt", then it does seem to me that that the marbles of white people have mostly been lost and are now rolling all over the floor.

It would therefore be very helpful indeed if the Supreme Court would put its collective thinking cap on and give a proper and legal definition of "racist", so we all know what we can or cannot say, sooner rather than later, or some of us might end up in prison, like poor Emma West, when she lost her rag and loudly and rudely shouted that the overwhelming number of passengers on the tram she was in was mostly foreign and "England is fuck all now".

Hopefully, it will be a definition that will not make Britain even more of a laughing stock than it already is.

http://www.supremecourt.gov.uk/

I have written today to the Supreme Court Press Officers Sian Lewis and Ben Wilson today in the following terms:
I trust it will be possible to put it to their Lordships that a legal definition of "racist" is most urgently sought.

Such a definition would be very useful both nationally and internationally and it would be nice if the British could lead the English-speaking legal world in this regard.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Claire Khaw

This was the rather disappointing response I received from Ben Wilson:

Dear Ms Khaw

I am afraid the Justices are unable to dispense adhoc legal advice on matters raised via correspondence, but rather they consider appeals over which The Supreme Court has jurisdiction.

Advice on appealing to The Supreme Court can be found here: http://www.supremecourt.gov.uk/procedures/how-to-appeal.html.

Best wishes,

Ben Wilson
UK Supreme Court

This means poor old Morrissey has to fund his legal action and then possibly have to appeal to the Court of Appeal and then to the  Supreme Court, something which will cost him many hundreds of thousands of pounds and take many many years.

The BNP may wish to start a campaign for the Morrissey Legal Fund, and Morrissey may even write a song about the British National Party that could prove to be another hit (which may or not mention the brilliance and genius of Claire Khaw) and sing it in his moaney whingey way ....

It will certainly be something that I will pray for.

EUKIP's fault that Eurosceptic movement has not taken off

UKIP rejects BNP electoral offer

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/election2010/results/

564,331 (BNP) + 64,826 (English Democrats) + 919,546 (EUKIP) =

TOTAL 1,548, 703

LibDems 6,836,824

Do you get it yet, UKIP? It is all YOUR fault that the Eurosceptic movement is not doing better.

I have proposed a way forward where neither party has to change its policies, but it still ain't good enough for UKIP who are STILL SCARED of being called racist.

"The BNP-UKIP Joint Manifesto would promise to have a referendum on

1. whether to withdraw from the EU; and

 2. whether to adopt BNP or UKIP policies where they differ"

BNP and UKIP do not differ on grammar schools AKA selective education AKA traditional education.

BNP and UKIP are, let's face it, anti-immigration political parties.

The problem is clear:

EUKIP are so afraid of being called racist that they would rather stay in the EU as long as they are not called racist.
EUKIP are so afraid of being called racist that they would rather stay in the EU as long as they are not called racist.
EUKIP are so afraid of being called racist that they would rather stay in the EU as long as they are not called racist.
EUKIP are so afraid of being called racist that they would rather stay in the EU as long as they are not called racist.

Pathetic and contemptible, is it not?

Anshul Gupta, The Enemy of Free Speech

Anyone can be accused of racism these days. All that needs to happen is for someone of another race - especially someone much darker than you - to take offence at what you said. Only fools and cowards are easily intimidated, but that is what most British men are, these days.

Someone called Anshul Gupta, whom I met on Alastair Campbell's walls on 12 May, is trying to get the police to arrest me for inciting racial hatred.

The Tory-supporting Mr Gupta came over to gloat at Cameron being declared Prime Minister after all - 5 days after the election.

Predictably, many of us on the thread made joking references to his name after someone mis-spelt "Anshul".

References to the anus and a certain ointment for the treatment of hemorrhoids became frankly irresistible.

Mr Gupta claimed that a doctor treating him (I am not certain if it was for hemorrhoids) who made that little joke had the police knocking on his door, and was even disciplined by the GMC, hoping to put the fear of the law into us.

Unfortunately, one of the weaker members of the discussion caved in and apologised. Indeed, he even mentioned a mental disability in order to excuse himself for this lese-majeste.

I then derided an entire race, nation and sex for this excruciatingly servile attitude towards some jumped-up person with a skin darker than theirs.

No wonder the BNP are concerned about racial extinction, I ranted. Who wants to breed with a bunch of men so gutless and so easily intimidated like those lily-livered liberals (who are mostly gay anyway)?

I wonder if Mr Gupta will be attempting to waste police time.

And I wonder if the police will allow their time to be wasted by calling on me.

I hope, for the sake of the taxpayer, that they will not, but I think I would be almost disappointed if they didn't.

It would after all amount to malicious prosecution or at the very least aiding and abetting in the wasting of police time.

I can always get Mr Gupta for defamation since it would appear that he is suggesting that I am a racist in the sense that I dislike his racial group (though I don't see what business it is of the state's whom I dislike and why).

If, however, he is suggesting that one is a racist merely because someone of another race is offended by what one has said, then perhaps I would be guilty.

I wish therefore to deny the concept of racism. If racism is merely having someone of another race offended by something you say, then it is clearly insupportable because it infringes the principle of free speech and has all the elements of speech crime.

Can any rational society be supporting this sort of crap?

But of course our political classes are now too emasculated and effeminate to propose anything to discourage the likes of people like Mr Gupta - the maliciously litigious.

No wonder this country is going to the dogs when people like Mr Gupta are allowed to infringe on our liberties in this way. Believe me, there are more and more people like him now, encouraged by the law.

As I said to Mr Gupta:

"I am not Afraid of Anusol and will not be Apologising to Arsehole."

and I, a mere woman, stand by what I say, no matter what the PC and spineless legal and political establishment say and do.

Political Correctness gone mad, and we are all paying for it.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1239765/Park-ranger-sacked-racist-joke-wins-40k-compensation-tribunal-tells-council-skin-colour-fact-life.html

Because a black man said it was racist of a white employee to jokingly ask if he put polish on his legs, Lambeth Council had to pay the white employee they sacked £40K for wrongfully dismissing him for "gross misconduct".

£40K of taxpayers' money, folks. More if you include the legal fees Lambeth must have paid to defend the case.

It would be a rather good story if it were to be discovered later that the white and black employee were in cahoots with each other in a conspiracy to divvy up the £40K between themselves ....

Is an admission of racial inferiority also "racist"?

This was the rather interesting question asked by Independent Councillor Chris Cook at http://www.chris-cooke.co.uk/ in our regular debates on race and Islam who is, like me, independently-minded and prefers the a la carte method of ordering our political dishes (as demonstrated at http://www.1party4all.co.uk/) rather than the limited fare that is the set menu offered by the Big 3 political parties. He is currently having trouble with the UAF (United Against Fascism) brigade who believe that BNP supporters and sympathisers should be silenced and removed rather than defeated by argument. (Although generally sympathetic to the BNP and saying that they should remain an all-white party, Chris who was one of the founder members of the SDP, is in fact dead against the death penalty, one of the staples of the BNP policy "diet".)

Like most people, I agree with some BNP policies and abjure the others. How could one not, for instance, support their intention to raise the threshold for paying income tax to £15,000 per annum, whatever race or religion one might be??

http://www.bnp.org.uk/pdf_files/minimanifesto2007.pdf

When I attended the anti-Iraq war march in 2003 at Hyde Park I noticed to my surprise that the BNP were represented as were the Muslims. That there were and are in fact more people and parties against the war than were for it I am cerrtain. That this country was nevertheless dragged into it just because dimwit sheep-like Conservatives like Boris Johnson and David Cameron were also bamboozled into supporting it, is infuriating to say the least. From this surprising revelation came the seeds of http://www.1party4all.co.uk/ - an opinion-polling direct democracy website that makes the most of our agreement rather than allows it to be diluted under the irrational and oligarchical multi-party system led by "leaders" who do not seem to be displaying prudence, principle, talent or any understanding of realpolitik.

But I digress.

As I was saying, Chris wondered whether it would in fact be racist to make an admission of racial inferiority. If it is racist to regard one's race as better than all the others, surely the converse is also "racist"? After all, one cannot logically have superior races without inferior races.

I wonder what would happen if the BNP started saying more loudly: "We the white indigenous British are as a rule indolent, illegitimate, innumerate, illiterate, racially inferior and have very weak cultural traditions. We therefore need state protection from the better-organised, more family-orientated and better-educated foreign hordes who are now taking over our land and taking the bread from our mouths."

Actually, that is what some of them have been saying, who clamour for minority status and ask for whites-only council housing. This can only be described as the English urban equivalent of territorial reservations for the Australian Aborigines and Native Americans. I don't know about anyone else, but I find this display of defeatism in the English saddening and embarrassing.

The answer is "yes" - it is also "racist" to claim the converse of racial inferiority. There you go: the BNP are racist through and through - surprise, surprise! On the one hand, some of them feel superior to foreigners yet on the other hand claim that crafty better-organised foreigners exploit their political system better than they do.

However, it is still legal to have a sincerely-held beliefs and opinions in this country, however irrational, such as Feng Shui, numerology, astrology, the belief that Christ is Son of God, witchcraft, homeopathic medicine, etc.

But for how much longer?

Racism and what it really means

Racism is our understandable wish to think we can judge a book by its cover. It is lazy thinking and the desire to embrace lazy generalisations.

"They/You are all the same" is a manifestation of this.

"You always do X (eg leave the toilet seat up)" is another.

"You are always being X (eg late)" is yet another.

It might be generally true but is not true all the time. A good example is the selecting of a spouse on the basis of his or her probable racial characteristics. On the other hand, they are not to be entirely discounted either.

We tread the thin line of a tightrope but would like a more secure and well-trodden path. For these reasons, we embrace broad generalisations and racial prejudice as a kind of comfort blanket, thinking that these rules will guide us in our assessment of the likely behaviour of a particular person or a group of people.

It amused me no end to see a cleaning agency proudly calling itself "Polish Cleaners" as if being Polish were a guarantee of quality, service and a keen price.

The point is that it is, as yet, NOT illegal to be racist, only to act on racially discriminatory reasons (which may be rational or irrational and have a happy or unhappy outcome).

Powell was dead against the Race Relations Act 1976 outlawing racial discrimination.

Being a Libertarian, I am dead against all anti-discrimination legislation, which are examples of totalitarian liberal legislation fulfilling all the conditions of "thoughtcrime".
