Why the welfare state was necessary in Britain to avert revolution after WW2

Don't fight ruinous imperialistic wars and then feel you have to buy off returning soldiers with the welfare state to avert revolution.

Germany never had an empire so when Hitler failed to acquire Russia after losing the war, it wasn't that big a deal. When you have lost a war and Russian soldiers are raping your women, loss of a shoulda woulda coulda empire would be the furthest thing from your mind.

Britain had a world empire and lost it as a result of "winning" WW2.

It is only the most convoluted kind of doublethink and propaganda that persuaded the British that they had won WW2 after all.

As for WW1, what was that all about? Belgian neutrality, apparently. If WW2 was a continuation of WW1, then Britain lost its world empire in 1947 over Belgian neutrality guaranteed by the Treaty of London in 1839.

The Welfare State was more about averting revolution by buying off returning British soldiers who have had enough of dying like flies over the stupid wars
of their ruling classes.

The poppy is really a symbol of failed imperialism as well as an opiate to induce forgetfulness of all the reasons that led to two World Wars.

Does anyone know there was a General Election in 1915 that was cancelled?

The Parliament Act 1911 reduced the maximum life of a Parliament from seven years to five; however, the election that would have been due by 1915 as a result of the Act was not held due to the First World War (1914–1918).

Liberal Prime Minister Asquith thought that by starting and winning a short and successful war against the Germans in the summer of 1914 after which the boys would be home by Christmas, the Liberal Party would win the General Election of 1915.

Think about it: a world empire thrown away by a scummy priapic henpecked Prime Minister over an election that most people now are not even aware of, that would have taken place, but for the WW1.

Now the British are so hooked on the welfare that they would put up with uncontrolled immigration just to continue getting "free" stuff from it.

One bad decision leads to another until you end and your civilisation end up dead.

Time to take democracy out with the trash.

My undeniably revolutionary ideas

I certainly do not deny that my ideas are revolutionary since they are the antithesis of the status quo. The status quo is matriarchy, and I propose to replace it with patriarchy. The status quo is also a corrupt atheist oligarchy promoting sexual liberation from the rules of marriage, and I propose to replace it with a one party theocracy.

To restore the patriarchy, sluts must be shamed. The malaise of the West is caused by feminism, and the personification of feminism is The Slut. Western Man worships her as a deity because she is the most immediate source of his short-term pleasure and long-term ruin.

It seems I wait in vain for a moral philosopher of the liberal establishment to challenge my ideas. They refuse to do so because to be seen to challenge them is to give my ideas credence when they wish to treat them as unworthy of notice.

All they can do are the following:

1. Deny that there is a problem.
2. Pretend that everyone is happy with feminism and liberal democracy. 
3. Pretend that the patriarchy is still in place because feminists are still complaining about it. 
4. Pretend that democracy is the best form of government while ignoring the fact that democracy only lasted for around a century in Ancient Athens and that the duration of Republican Rome was much shorter than Imperial Rome. 
5. Pretend that anyone who questions democracy and feminism is an evil, racist, antisemitic, Islamophobic, misogynistic Fascist and Nazi in order to dismiss and ignore their views. 
6. Continue to pretend not to hear while refusing to answer questions or engage in any form of open discussion.

Secular Koranism is an irritant, like itching powder.  I have emptied a whole pack of it down the back of Western civilisation and Westerners are trying to pretend it never happened and that they are not feeling at all itchy ...

All I have to do is keep telling them they are itchy with feminism and degeneracy and wait patiently.

Not long now.

My five point plan to destroy the British matriarchy

1. Radicalise male Tory MPs by tweeting at them regularly with my thrilling and inspirational ideas of patriarchal hegemony
2. Make them see that David Cameron is (a) evil incarnate (b) not a Conservative (c) a robot sent to destroy social conservatism in Britain
3. Persuade them to surgically remove Cameron and his unConservative ilk from the Conservative Party.
4. Recommend that they do a deal with Labour and become a one-party state after telling the LibDems to go jump in the lake.
5. Look forward to becoming a come a sexually-repressed one-party theocracy in which brothel-keeping will be legal and gay marriage illegal, laws few and taxes low, after repealing the Equality Act 2010 and  reintroducing fault into divorce.  

The Morality of War, Revolution and Terrorism is Conditional and Contingent

War is violence committed by one state against another. Revolution or terrorism can be violence committed by a group against a state or innocent civilians. As there can be just wars, so can there be 'just terrorism'. Terrorists (or violent revolutionaries) only become freedom fighters and statesmen if they are successful in their terrorism eg Nelson Mandela, Gerry Adams, Martin McGuinness. Good government entails the prevention of grievances that cause acts of terrorism to be committed, and bad governments deserve to be overthrown.

Do the ends justify the means?  We can only wait and see.   

A few excremental analogies

A revolution is analogous to a national act of defecation. It won't be pretty, with the world looking on.

Politicians should be a like sewage workers and dustmen, who clear away excremental accumulations and toxic ideologies.

They get no thanks when they are doing their job properly, but we soon notice when they don't.
