Dear Mr Matthys

I am writing to enquire why my party membership has not been renewed for 2014.                                                
I rang the BNP number on 3rd March 2014 and spoke to Dawn. Then I paid £48 (or so I thought) over the phone to renew my membership for the year.  I apologised for renewing late - a little over two months since my membership had expired.

However I explained that my debit card had gone missing in February and she said this would be fine. She mentioned that the electronic payments system was down at that moment, but took my bank details and said it would be done later.

A day or so later I noticed the money had not been deducted from my account, so I rang Dawn again. She said there was a query about my membership, which was being dealt with by the membership department.  She also mentioned that an earlier suspension of my membership might be affecting my voting rights.

Subsequently, I called a few more times during the week but could not get any further information on the subject from Dawn, who was most apologetic.

In fact, my membership was suspended in 2010 for 3 months. This also applied to about 20 other members, including former London organisers.

Although we wrote to Clive Jefferson at the time asking why this had been done, none of us (as far as I am aware) received a reply.  After 3 months the suspensions were lifted by Clive in a sort of ‘truce’.  After this, I was able to renew in 2011, 2012 and 2013 without any difficulty at all.

Indeed, I was also able to vote in the 2011 party leadership election - which obviously I could not have done if the 2010 suspension had affected my voting rights in any way.

My latest renewal in 2013 was approved by you personally.  I have attached a copy of the letter you sent me on 21st March 2013 thanking me for renewing my membership.

I am not sure what could have happened between March 2013 and March 2014 to affect my membership status.  I have been reasonably active in the party – attending branch meetings and party demonstrations (e.g. for Lee Rigby in Westminster on 1/6/13; at Lunar House, Croydon on 5/10/13; and, recently, for Lee Rigby at the Old Bailey on 26/2/14).

In 2011, I was appointed East End Organiser. In addition to the European and Local Elections on May 22nd - there is to be a mayoral election in Tower Hamlets.  The present mayor, Lutfur Rahman, is sympathetic to Islamic fundamentalism and also (allegedly) corrupt.  A Panorama programme broadcast on 31/3/14 focused on fraud in the borough and on 4/4/14 fraud inspectors raided the town hall in Tower Hamlets and gathered up boxes of official files.

I believe the BNP should stand a candidate against Rahman (closing date for nominations is April 22).  The London Regional Organiser, Steve Squire, agrees.  On 10/3/14 at 22.58 he texted me saying: “I am quite interested in the mayor contest, when is it? The deposit [£500] won’t be a problem, we can raise that.”

Earlier that day I had discussed this with him.  He admitted there was no-one else in the Tower Hamlets area to represent the BNP.  There is to be a UKIP candidate standing in the election – Nicholas McQueen, a cousin of the late fashion designer, Alexander McQueen. This connection will no doubt give him a high profile and – with no BNP candidate to offer a genuine nationalist alternative – UKIP will simply take ALL the votes that should by rights go to our party.  What a pity.

Finally, I would be grateful if you would send me a letter concerning my membership status which should include an explanation of why my membership has not been renewed.


I will request a disciplinary hearing, if necessary, and/or take the matter to appeal.

What could be the reason for the non-renewal of Jeffrey Marshall's membership without warning or explanation?

It is true that he did a while back at a London Nationalist Unity Meeting that he would stand as a leadership contender in the next BNP leadership election which would be in 2015, after the General Election.

Jeff  says he is now "reasonably sure that problem with renewing my membership is because of the conversation I had in the pub after the Lunar House demo in September 2014 with Richard Perry of Malden, Essex and his wife, Tina both parish councillors. A member, George, was there and said rather provocatively, "You are against Nick Griffin, aren't you, Jeff?"  Instead of just denying this, as I should have, I proceeded to list Nick Griffin's strengths and faults and said I would stand against him in the next leadership election.  George said, "But no one will vote for you, Jeff."  I said, "But I still think someone should stand." Richard and Tina looked a bit shocked, as newish members.  I thought at the time it might get back to the leadership."

Is this an honourable reason to expel him though?

It has also been said that Jeffrey has been "mixed up" with me, but that must be nonsense, surely.  Jeffrey doesn't look anything like me and takes great care not to say the things I say.

Perhaps he is seen as my proxy by the leadership, which is flattering indeed.

1.  Start blogging now that he intends to contest the leadership.
2.  Dare the BNP not to renew his membership just because he said that.

There is something deeply repulsive about the kind of blatant antisemitism expressed by the more primitive species of ethno-nationalist, and we have an example of this in the link above.

For daring to visit a synagogue on London Open Day two years ago and inviting me along so I took photos, Jeffrey Marshall is now suspected of being a Jew because he had to cover his head to enter a synagogue. It is only because Jews and Muslims respect the institution of the family that makes them easily outgun the gentile lumpenproletariat who cannot compete with foreigners even in the field of unskilled manual labour. It is they who have had their characters ruined by the welfare state, and the welfare state is kept going because it must be kept going to keep the sluts fed and watered, breeding and parasitical.

While the white working classes remain unfit for purpose, there will always be a demand for immigrant labour.  Sadly however, my theory that sluts cause immigration is not accepted in the same way that an alcoholic cannot bring himself to admit that his drinking has in any way caused him any problems with his job or his relationships, because he does not want to give up drink.

Those of them who do agree with me dare not be seen to agree with me in public, for fear of the offence this would cause their fellow nationalists, who are mostly illegitimate and who are mostly parents of illegitimate offspring.  In fact, these men who are portrayed by the media as dangerous extremists are really hypocrites and cowards afraid of criticising the morals of the worst of their women, in order to avoid acknowledging the reality of their own degradation.

What of the future?  I predict that eventually enough white working class British females will vote with their feet and convert to Islam in the hope of marrying a husband who is prepared to take his marriage vows seriously.  This is in fact already happening at East London Mosque.  Even Eastern European Catholic women in London see that the future is Islam now.

Eventually, enough men will vote with their feet and convert to Islam in the hope of taking a wife who will take her marriage vows seriously and be a good mother and wife.  

Britain won't be Islamified by brown Muslims but by the reproductive choices of rational British women who will eventually realise that the only rational choice they have left, if they care about the quality of their offspring, is to reject their pernicious culture of sexual liberation and reject any man who does not look like he will prove to be a good provider, a good husband or a good father.

So, now you know what Muslims are for, and Jews for that matter.  They are the living demonstration of the importance of marriage in any society that desires longevity and wishes to remain an advanced society, and that this mysterious mechanism of regulating sexual relations between humans called marriage can only be supported in perpetuity by a continuing and general belief in society of the existence of a moral and omnipotent God.

Matthew Collins's report is so full of falsehoods and inaccuracies that I have had to break his report down into single sentences to deal with each and every falsehood and inaccuracy as the occur in each sentence.

"Well, let’s begin with the news that all soap opera fans have been dreading: The odd couple of David Jones and Claire Khaw have split. Needless to say, Dave has not taken it too well."

This is the only sentence of Matthew Collins's report that is accurate.  Dave in fact threatened suicide at the weekend and I had to call the police.  I am surprised Collins missed that.

"Having invited his Chinese Nazi friend up to his farm to play with guns and swastikas, she has decided that he is too “low class” to continue their friendship."

This sentence is an ungrammatical non sequitur clearly unworthy of deconstruction, let alone comment.   I am not a Nazi either.  To be a Nazi, I would have to be a politically-active Aryan German national living in Germany when Hitler was in power.  Clearly, this is impossible.

Not all mothers are single mothers and not all single mothers are Slut Single Mothers ie SSMs ie Never Married Mothers.  (I am actually thinking of calling them Spinster Single Mothers, since this is a technical term for a woman who has never been married and whose offspring is illegitimate, to address the problem of so many people finding the term "slut" offensive.  It is my view that widespread illegitimacy causes degeneracy and could easily be stopped, if only the government would criticise them, rather than pandering to them.)

I have been rather concerned about how such an important principle of justice could be infringed with so little protest.  It seems the majority of people are prepared to ride roughshod over this principle in order to show how compassionate they are and how much they feel for their victims as well as how much they hate paedophiles to the extent that they do not feel they deserve a fair trial and that the number of accusations made against the accused is ipso facto evidence of its truth.   These are all first year law student points, but I am under the impression that no one wishes to be seen to be defending the rights of anyone accused of being a paedophile, and are happy to assume their guilt.

Let us hope that Jeffrey Marshall, who is currently East End Organiser, will be allowed to organise a meeting.  Of course he will say nothing about the leadership contest at this meeting, if  it turns out he is allowed to organise it.

I asked him to sum up what he said and this was his response:

1)  the apparent reserve of any individual to put himself or herself forward for the leadership challenge; 

2)  the challenge to Nick Griffin cannot exist unless some individual is prepared to do so;

3)  that I would offer to be a candidate myself in the hope that it may inspire others who might feel they can do a better job than Nick Griffin or me, thus putting on record that my hat is now thrown in the ring."

Let us see then if Jeffrey finds himself suspended and then expelled for spurious reasons for declaring so early.  

The next BNP leadership election is 3 years away after all.  This means there is time enough for those who want to vote for Jeffrey Marshall as leader but who have left the party to rejoin the party and qualify to vote in the next leadership election.  There is 24 month probationary period but as long as  you lie low and do nothing you should be OK.

Currently, Jeffrey remains East End Organiser.  Will he even be allowed to organise a meeting after this bold declaration?  Will it get backing from the others?  Is the fact that he wishes to contest the leadership enough reason for the party to expel him?

If he is suspended then expelled on trumped-up charges, can he judicially review such a decision?  Or will he and other long serving activists be entirely without remedy?

If he is allowed to contest the leadership, will be allowed access to the membership list or will it be withheld from him the way it was from Eddy Butler?

Will there be procedural propriety and abuse of process all over again?

Also, how much will 7.13 cost the party if Jeffrey manages to dislodge the incumbent leader?

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT JEFFREY MARSHALL

1. By joining or rejoining the BNP now so you can vote and support him in the leadership contest in 3 years' time.  (Yes, this means you lot who have gone over to the NF or joined the English Democrats.)
2. By seeing to it that you have your voting rights in 2 years' time by not coming to the attention of the leadership who may expel you before your 24 month probationary period is up (so you have no right to be heard by a disciplinary tribunal) or expelling you on some trumped-up charge with your only recourse to justice a biased disciplinary tribunal.  
3. If you want to dislodge Nick Griffin as Chairman, there needs to be an attack on more than one front. It has to come from within and without.   Jeffrey Marshall is the only passably credible leadership contender who is eligible to contest the leadership and who may appeal to the educated middle classes.  He is the BNP's foremost "Muslim man"  http://thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.co.uk/2009/12/historic-evening-of-debate-between.html and believes that the only way forward for nationalism is to be explicitly civic nationalist.  He at any rate knows - because of his dealings with them - that even non-white British citizens complain bitterly about immigration and have no one to turn to.  Going civic nationalist does not mean you do not care about your own race.  It just means you see the futility in still banging on about (a) forced repatriation (b) introducing apartheid (c) making non-white British citizens second class citizens.  It is merely a pragmatic strategic stance.  Anyone who still cannot understand this should join the Neanderthals at the NF.

ELECTIONS TO OUR PARTY’S LEADERSHIP


7.1 Elections for the post of the Chairman shall be held every year, starting in 2009. Nominations shall open on 20th July in each year and close at noon on 10th August following. The election shall be held on a 'one member, one vote' basis in a secret postal ballot of all Individual Members with right to attend and vote at a General Members' Meeting and whose required Subscription paid up by 1st of July.


7.2 Any Individual Member may become a candidate for the post of the Chairman of our Party provided that individual on or before the close of nominations:-


7.2.1 satisfies the BH Voter Requirement and the BH Resident Requirement;


7.2.2 does not poses dual or more citizenship;


7.2.3 is a Voting Member with five years or more Continuous Membership of our Party; and


7.2.4 has:-
7.2.4.1 secured the signatures on his or her nomination paper of not less than 20% of the Individual Members with 24 calendar months of Continuous Membership


7.2.4.2 the support of the Founders Association acting by a 10% or more vote in favour of that individual seeking to stand in a Leadership Election in a general meeting of the members of the Founder's Association entitled to attend and vote at such meeting, held between 1th August and 31st August in any year (if any) at which the nomination of each individual seeking to be a candidate in a Leadership Election and who satisfies the conditions set out in Clauses 7.2.4.1 and Clause 7.2.4.3 shall be put to a vote; and


7.2.4.3 secured the signatures on his or her nomination paper of not less than 20% of the Voting Members.


7.3 An Individual Member may sign pursuant to Clause 7.2.4.1 the nomination papers of an individual seeking nomination as a candidate in a Leadership Election only once.


7.4 An Voting Member may sign pursuant to Clause 7.2.4.3 the nomination papers of an individual seeking nomination as a candidate in a Leadership Election only once.


7.5 The meaning of Individual Members and of Voting Members in Clause 7.2.4 and Clause 7.6 means those of such Members who are entitled to attend and vote at an Official Meeting of our Party.


7.6 On July 1st each year a statement will be issued detailing the total number of Individual Members with at least 24 months Continuous Membership and of the total number of Voting Members.


7.7 Notification of a leadership election shall be issued in the September issue of British Nationalist, while the October issue will include an A4 manifesto sheet from each candidate (designed and supplied by them) and a ballot paper, and will be sent by post to all Individual Members, including those who normally receive their bulletins electronically.


7.8 A pre-recorded debate between the candidates shall be publicised on BNPtv, a private page on the BNP website will give each candidate up to six sides of A4 designed by them, our Party magazine shall give each candidate equal space to set out their ideas, and at least three hustings meetings will be held with equal time for each candidate in different parts of the country and be open to all paid up Individual Members from the areas in question. In the event that unavoidable external circumstances render any of these methods of communication impractical they may be omitted or replaced as decided by a simple majority vote of a special meeting of the Advisory Council.


7.9 The ballot papers shall be kept unopened until the post has arrived on the third Thursday of October, when all received ballots shall be opened and counted under the supervision of two senior officials appointed by the Advisory Council who are not candidates, together with the candidates and up to two scrutineers each.


7.10 The Leadership Election shall take place on a „first past the post‟ basis.


7.11 In any year in which no nominations for the post of the Chairman of our Party are received in accordance with sub-section 2 of this section, the currently serving holder of the post will be deemed to have received a mandate from our Party to hold it for a further term. In any year where a leadership challenge is entered, the currently serving the Chairman shall be deemed to be nominated automatically should he wish to stand again.


7.12 In the event of a General Election being called before the ballot papers have been posted, the campaign may be suspended at the discretion of the Advisory Council by a simple majority vote, resuming the schedule immediately after polling day.


7.13 If an outgoing the Chairman is a paid employee of our Party and either does not wish to remain as such or is not required as such by the new incumbent, he or she shall receive severance pay in line with the statutory requirement, plus one month for each year served up to a total of eight years, and one week extra for each year thereafter.


7.14 The successful candidate in any Leadership Election will be considered asoccupying the office of the Chairman immediately on completion of the counting of votes in that election.


7.15 No Leadership Election shall be held during the imprisonment of the Chairman in our British Homeland on account of him or her upholding the Principles of our Party or any other terms and conditions of this Constitution.

On 6th October 2007, the BNP leafleted the UKIP conference at the Troxy Conference centre. Chris Forster, Chris Hurst, Steve Tyler & I distributed our leaflets to UKIP delegates as they arrived.

Most were friendly, but a few of the younger ones were aggressive, insisting we clear off - which, naturally, we refused to do.

Roger Knapman defused the situation and the thuggier members were encouraged inside.

We continued leafleting (our leaflets pointing out that UKIP was a shrinking party and, at that time, the BNP still a growing one). Nigel Farage remained outside speaking on his mobile. We didn't trouble him; nor did he speak to us.

About 3 months later, Farage was speaking at a Swinton Circle meeting at a pub in the City. I was extremely late for the meeting and had missed the speech, so I remained in the bar, drinking a pint near the entrance. Farage, obviously on his way out, began to head in my direction. But then he caught sight of me and suddenly halted. He seemed startled, veering back in recognition, like a rabbit in car headlights.

It was quite bizarre - as though he really believed all his own UKIP tales about 'BNP thugs'. I stood elaborately aside to allow him to pass, which he proceeded to do. Obviously he was caught unawares, but I was surprised by the appearance of physical cowardice.

The most morally courageous thing Nigel Farage can do is to invite me to become Policy Adviser as well as Directrix of Communications and to stop preventing ex-BNP members from joining UKIP.  But I ain't holding my breath.

(If UKIP are afraid of being accused of having racist members, simply ask all members to sign a form undertaking not to promote apartheid and forced repatriation either in public or private on pain of expulsion.  That is all Ethno-nationalism means anyway.)

I was charmed by Newcastle, its elegance and architecture.

Ken Booth made a few references to my Facebook controversies and looked meaningfully in my direction when he spoke about the unhelpful photos I had of myself taken with a certain Northern Nationalist to whom he did not refer by name.  Attendance was about 50.

Peter Rushton, the first to speak, referred to UKIP as "fake nationalists" during his talk which analysed the election results.

As it happened, there was a UKIP man there who told us that he too was "passionate" about his country. "Keep these meetings going, he said, "let's keep patriotism going."  All nationalists should vote for UKIP because it is the biggest Eurosceptic party around, he said.  While they have a long list of nationalist parties whose ex-members are banned from joining their party, people should continue voting UKIP anyway.  UKIP are however adamant that the ban should stay despite his and others' protestations.


ANDREW BRONS

This was the most interesting speech of all.  "There are challenges for us as a nation," he began.  "In the long-term it is a global challenge.  The West is becoming more and more impoverished.  We are in a shambles.  We may not even be able to survive as a nation to deal with the problems."

He referred to Hope Not Hate as "the Hate People".

They did not destroy the BNP, he said.  "We did it on our own."  He likened nationalists to people playing on in ouija board.  Consciously or unconsciously, the message nationalists are being given is that they are heading for DESTRUCTION.

Nick Griffin "craves personal power, uses lies and trickery and is indecisive"  He surrounds himself with Yes Men and people outside the party eg Jim Dowson, Patrick Harrington and allows them to take decisions.

According to Fred Coolidge, deranged dictators from all over the world suffer from the same three things:

1. Narcissism
2. Paranoia
3. Sadism

In fact, Griffin behaves like "a gangster".   David Soane(?) the printer for the BNP in Ireland was told by Nick Griffin and his daughter Jennifer to fabricate receipts against Richard Barnbrook to stitch him up in order to win back the GLA seat.   Nick Griffin even claimed Andrew Brons owed him money which claims Andrew Brons denounced and repudiated.   Now Nick Griffin in trouble as result of that with OLAF [sounded like] which is some EU organisation that investigates fraudulent expenses claims.  [I do hope I have got this right.]  

Nick Griffin is further compared to Gaddafi, Assad and the character played by Sacha Baron Cohen in THE DICTATOR.   Wolfie Smith [whoever he is] was mentioned. 

Apparently, the only reason why Nick Griffin has not sacked Andrew Brons is because Nick Griffin thinks Andrew Brons wants to be sacked.  

Nick Griffin has driven out every person of talent.  The English Democrats and Andrew Moffat were mentioned.   Only deviants, simpletons, and non-party members are retained these days.   

The "disproportion response" taken by Nick Griffin against Eddy Butler, now in the English Democrats, was mentioned.   Andrew Brons admitted that he himself did not think the General Election results were that unsatisfactory [though Eddy clearly did, probably bearing in mind that UKIP failed to get an MP either.

The 840 signatures Eddy Butler was required to obtain before he was eligible to challenge the leadership was an impossibility.  It was even more of an impossibility because he was not even allowed to use the membership list.

"Look at the way Nick Griffin runs the party.  This is the way he will run the country." .  

"Nationalists are like Eeyore - they seem to want to go to a lonely place where we know we won't be followed.  English Democrats went to where the rest of us wouldn't follow."

If he thought it would make a difference, he would join the NF so he could die there, but he didn't think it would make a difference, so he will remain in the BNP.

He did not really think Nick Griffin is a state plant as many do.

He then made a rather puzzling reference to Obama, a bridge in Maine and unemployed construction workers and ended by telling nationalists to think and act rationally.

JIM LETHWAITE asked if BNP is toxic and whether nationalism can start in one region and spread nation-wide.   He remarked on the "collective passivity over Nick Griffin's behaviour" and proposed "a confederation of relatively autonomous branches" in Yorkshire, Lancashire, the North East and the Midlands.

London, obviously, is a lost cause.  In fact, he is not the first Northern Nationalist to say this.

MY SPEECH
I tried to say that civic nationalism is the only way forward, because even the non-whites (non-white British citizens have been born here for generations now so they too are indigenous, technically) are complaining about immigration.  It is pointless to talk about repatriation either compulsory or voluntary because they are light years from getting into power.  It is unrealistic and pointless to insist on talking about this  as a badge of ethno-nationalism.   [Did I really say this, or did I only mean to?  I later asked Jeffrey and he said I just went on about the usual things I have been going on about for years, and he was a bit vague too.]  I tried to say, but do not know if I in fact said it, that if you cannot get rid of them the least you can do is to make them behave and even vote for you.  I mentioned too how popular BNP policies were  though of course their image needs a make-over to make the most of that instinctive peasant good sense that most people the world over really have, if they have not been brainwashed and indoctrinated.  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-384167/Most-Britons-actually-support-BNP-policies.html

After me,  JEFFREY MARSHALL spoke.  He did not think concentrating on the regions while ignoring the development of the national  party as a whole was particularly constructive.  The BNP brand was at  least recognisable and the little parties just did not register in the consciousness of the voter.

A blond rather handsome middle aged woman, Jan Purvis, who was a hard-line supporter of the 14  Words disagreed vehemently while he was making his speech.   She entirely rejected civic nationalism.   I think she even said that nationalist unity was now in fact impossible.  The best they can do now is stay together, stick to their ethno-nationalist principles, and reject the BNP.  It seemed to me a toxic mixture of complacency and despair.

[At least the BNP calls itself the British NATIONAL Party and embodies those expectations.  What will this woman call her non-party?  The British Regionalist Party?  The British Separatist Party?  Why, if civic nationalism is really so useless,  is UKIP always getting more votes than the BNP?  Why is 17%  of the vote that Marine Le Pen of La Front Nationale obtained something to be dismissed, sneered at and scorned when the British version of it is precisely nowhere because of these dinosaur attitudes that makes them refuse to grasp the ethno-nationalist bull by its horns and wrestle it to the ground?

Is Nationalism really about not having yourself photographed with other races?  (Kevin Watmough made a point of cutting himself out of the photo.)

There is now talk about the BPP merging with the NF.  If David and I have in any way advanced the cause of nationalist unity, then I am glad.  It is actually easier to have all the ethnos in one-party rather than dotted about here and there in their tribal divided way being stand-offish with each other.

I actually understand a little why they might hate and fear me so much though.   Even if they thought I would be the best person for the job, they wouldn't let me do it because of their white male pride.   They would rather have the weeds of Ethno-Nationalism than the fruits of Civic Nationalism, I know, I know.

Some of them perhaps fear that I might "take over" and turn Britain into a Caliphate, who knows?

My expulsion, quasi-proscription and then being blocked from following Nick Griffin's tweets would suggest that he and I are not on the best of terms.

Perhaps they fear that I am creating a Cult of Personality.  Yes, I have to admit that.  There is no point in entering politics and then being shy and retiring because people will just ignore you and forget you and not know what you stand for.

I will do anything within reason and the law to get myself noticed and talked about, in order to promote myself and my ideas.

The wiser ones will already know that I can accomplish more in a shorter space of time than they can, because I am neither male nor white.   I also do not have a wife who would divorce me for my political views.

If you are considered a pariah and wanted someone to represent people like you and promote your interests, would you hire someone in a similarly lowly position to represent your interests?

Would a sane lunatic wish another lunatic to represent his interests?  I rather think not.  If he were a sane lunatic he would choose someone who was not a lunatic either.

Of course, the liberals consider me a pariah because I now do not have a party, but that can be easily remedied by starting one, perhaps with David Jones, representing Ethno- and Civic Nationalist Unity that is intended to rival and surpass the BNP and give its activists better working conditions and more rights.

What is there not to like about this idea, once you have gotten over the fact that I am female and not white, as long as I do my job which is to make Nationalism intellectually and socially respectable?

It is not like you are doing the job so well that you don't need any help.

It is not as if I am not offering you all something new, exciting and different.  I am offering you something that will change the existing order, sooner rather than later.

Doubtless you will be a little suspicious of my motives, but I am only doing this because I can't bear to watch you all wasting your time, dithering about and literally destroying yourselves.

I am not the sort who will watch a drowning man drown when I could easily throw him a rope or a life saving ring.
  
I promise to stand aside for anyone who is better suited for the job when he appears on the scene, but not before.

In any party that I form, the noble nationalist tradition of having a leadership election ever year will be established as soon as the membership numbers and available talent make it a worthwhile exercise.  I will be the most exciting caretaker leader you can ever hope to have.

I ask again: what is there not to like?
